The Spirit of Prophecy has always given us a “special” Word for the New Year. This has gone on for years now! Prophetic Words are given through my wife, who has had this “special” gift for nearly 50 years (see 1 Corinthians 12:10 where prophecy is one of the gifts mentioned).
Does God SPEAK today? Some say no! Others say yes! God speaks through His written Word as well as through His anointed and appointed servants. While the Bible warns about false prophets and false teachers, this in no wise cancels His true prophets/teachers.
There were false prophets and teachers back in the early New Testament days, but there were also true Spirit Prophets (males and females!). See Ephesians 4:11. And there were TRUE teachers, filled with the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit Jesus had (see Matthew 4:1 and Luke 4:1).
There have been Spirit haters all through the centuries as well as God deniers. In our time, there are several God/Spirit haters that do not hide their disdain for Christianity. One such man is Richard Dawkins, who was an Oxford professor and author of The God Delusion, 2006. A LOST SOUL! Allow me to quote several of his rants from his book which was a New York Times bestseller.
“God is the most unpleasant character of all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control freak; a vindictive bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, philosidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully!” (p. 31).
Wow, sounds like Dawkins is describing America’s current president, the liar/fraud. Dawkins goes on to write:
“… a designer God cannot be used to explain organized complexity because any God capable of designing anything would have to be complex enough to demand the same kind of explanation in his own right. God presents an infinite regress from which He cannot help us to escape” (p. 109).
This fool Dawkins, on page 136, writes, “The whole argument turns on the familiar question, ‘Who made God?’”
Dawkins was an evolutionist, thus his disdain for the “Designer” God.
So, with that said, let me quote from the New Year’s Words of the Spirit, which lost souls like Richard Dawkins and others would have a hard time believing and receiving.
God’s Word, like prophecy and the Bible, is an open book. It is what it is. It portrays God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as they are, not what we believe they are. God has within his character both love and hatred, which manifests in many ways.
Many Biblical prophecies are what Richard Dawkins and others would call unloving, unhateful, judgmental. Yet the Bible itself is a history book, written by persons who were inspired by God Spirit. Peter wrote, “No prophecy of Scripture is of any private humanistic interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man (or woman), but holy men (women) of God spoke (wrote) as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 2:20-21). Paul also wrote about the Scriptures in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that the Scriptures were given by the inspiration of God (they were literally “God-breathed”). Note, one Bible scholar rightly said, “Divine Inspiration never supposed His Biblical authors were automatons, devoid of personality or individual style, but rather men who spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
GET READY!!! …
Some of what I’m going to share now will bring on more anxiety. We live in a time when it seems like there is no hope without dope! Guess this is the reason for the legalization and sales of pot – Americans are becoming legal potheads. People are looking for relief, not more grief. But what the Holy Spirit is saying in real time is actually His LOVE. The Spirit is chastising America. Job 5:17-18 reveals this: “Behold, happy as the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole” (see Psalms 94:12 and 1 Samuel 2:6-7).
The New Testament has this to say: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord (refer to Proverbs 3:11-12), nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; for whom the Lord loves, He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives. If you endure chasing, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate bastards and not sons. …Now, no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:5-11; see also 1 Peter 5:9; James 3:17-18; chastening equals discipline as well as punishment).
Revelations 3:19 says, “As many as I love I rebuke and chasten; therefore be zealous and repent” (Greek, paideuo = “to train, educate, discipline by punishment, instruct, teach”; from Greek, pais = “often beat with impunity”).
Another Greek word for chastening or chastising is paideia = “train by disciplinary correction.” One more word is paio = “to hit, especially to sting (as a scorpion), smite, strike.”
Keep all this in mind when you read the Prophetic Words given New Years Eve and New Year’s Day:

“…open your eyes to see what is on the horizon. There are DARK clouds … the same will bring MUCH HARDSHIP, WRECKAGE, AND DEATH to the sons of men. Know that in the coming year, that I the Living God will bring forth an increase of My judgments against the people of this earth for their continual transgressions … men and women have chosen … to run like dogs after sin, it is Me the Living God who is wearied with their ugliness and their vile behaviors. I have sent forth my prophets crying out for them to repent, yet they have stubbornly refused and have punished My prophets…”
Danger Ahead Continued …
“In their vehement opposition to Me, they have caused much suffering to my true messengers … they have risen up in their drunken pride and assumed that nothing could ever bring them down … Believe Me in the year ahead [2023] you will see much DEVASTATION, DESTRUCTION, AND DEATH, as My WRATH is openly displayed upon the people of this earth. Be aware that the incurable PLAGUES shall continue to reap great harvests of DEATH as they will mutate more and more. Throughout the world, scientists will labor feverishly to stay the PLAGUES, all to NO AVAIL! Medical staff will work long and tedious hours in their attempts to alleviate human suffering and anguish only to have many of their efforts thwarted by DEATH. Literally, there will be no accomplishments made by the efforts of men and women who think they shall prevail over the PLAGUES that have been sent by Me…”

We have posted many “plagues/disaster” Words of the Spirit for you to read. The Lord has used plagues, diseases, sicknesses, and disasters over the centuries as His punishments in order to get the transgressors to repent and to cleanse the earth of sin and sinners. We may think God is cruel, but He brings JUDGMENTS because of His love – to preserve human life.
Case In Point
Take time to read Genesis 6:1-4. Some call these “enigmatic verses, with a transition between the exposition of the human race and illustrated genealogy in chapter 5, and the flood depicted in chapters 6 through 9.” Because of the increasing wickedness of mankind, it led God to drastically reduce the lifespan of man. And God brought forth another mighty decree to the wicked – DEATH BY DROWNING!
Genesis 6:5 says, “The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the Earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Verse 6 says, “He [God] was grieved in his heart” (see 1 Samuel 15:11,29; Isaiah 63:10; Mark 3:5).
Men’s sins … God’s sorrow and grief … GOD’S PUNISHMENT.
Verse 11 says, “The Earth also is corrupt … filled with violence.” Verse 12 says, “Indeed, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted this way.” Note: God does not punish arbitrarily, but simply brings punishment because of evil that was initiated by sinful humans.
We know how the story went: God destroyed all humankind except a few who escaped by remaining in the Ark of Safety. Can we not agree that as it was then, so it is today? – The whole world is filled with violence and sins of every kind. Look at America, a hatred for God’s will and way. The powers that be, the leadership at present, is working feverishly to overthrow all Godliness and establish a new nation. “One nation under God” really equals “Communism: a WOKE, Draconian and Fascist government.”
Words of the Spirit continued …
“Yet, despite all that shall befall humanity, the vast majority will only grow harder and more angry at Me. Even those who profess that they are atheists will be up in arms more than ever against Me … The earth itself will continue to show sore displeasure with the sinful state of humanity. More earthquakes, volcanoes, and violent storms … Destruction and devastation shall arise and take the lives of multitudes who have been so foolish as to give themselves wholeheartedly to sin and debauchery. Do not mourn over what I the Living God will do against the wicked, for it is My intention to bring them to ruination inasmuch as they have caused the ruination of countless souls.
This is the time when the very nations will tremble because of the anger that I will openly display…
Do not at any time allow an accusatory attitude to well up within you and cause you troubles and sorrows … Know thru Me that in the storms ahead, I cover you … My desire is to show mercy to the upright, and wrath to the wicked.”

This Word was given on New Year’s Eve. The following was given on New Year’s Day. We need not disbelieve what the Spirit is saying, for Genesis 6:11-12 has already proven that our monotheistic God brings judgment and punishment (both the written and the spoken word agree; I have many articles on the wrath, fury and indignation of God).
Predictive prophecy is found all through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Don’t waste your time on reading some of these religious and secular prophecies, though, that try to tell us that “All is well.” LIKE HELL!
All is not well.
God’s wrath and indignation is present.
In real time.
While the world is front-and-center fitful over global warming and climate change, they are NOT preparing for their future abode — Hell. This will remain their coming adobe, if they do not change their lives and REPENT.
The Book speaks about the Day of Judgment, the end of the world. God’s “plan for man” is to save the human race, not the Earth. People read esoteric numerology calculations and predictions about the End; well, the Bible and Spoken Word are the only TRUSTABLE sources that address the End.
One thing I do know is that God is angry at the human race now, as He was in Noah’s Day. God is also the ONLY ONE with any answers. People like Richard Dawkins have no answers, only criticisms.
We need not wander in a labyrinth of doubt and fear, we can climb aboard the “Salvation Ark” and be saved!
