I speak unto you this day and I say that all human lives matter to me. That is why I sent My Son Jesus as a man that He would offer Himself as the PROPITIATION for the sins of all who will repent and ask forgiveness of their sins. Word of Prophecy given July 7, 2020 by General Deborah Green.
Before I get into my article-Faith In Crisis-let me give the Greek definition of the word “propitiation”: hilasmos = atonement, i. e. an expiator; hilasterion = an atoning victim (example = Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, John 1:29; see also 1 Peter 2:24 and Rev. 5:6-14). This Greek word is found several times in the New Testament:
Romans 3:25: “Whom God (Father) set forth as a propitiation by His (Jesus’) blood through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God has passed over the sins that were previously committed.”
1 John 2:2 and 4:10: “And He Himself (Jesus) is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world”; “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Hebrews 2:17: “Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.”
America is in a CRISIS-spiritually, politically, economically, and physically i.e. covid-19 virus. Many have “faith” in one or more of these categories. China, of course, is at the center of this crisis. The U.S. Is still investigating the Covid-19 virus outbreak: was it an accident or was it purposed? I personally believe the latter. China IS an enemy of the free world-that is the Chinese Communist Party. If the outbreak was intentional, look at the BIG VICTORY China has won. They have infected virtually the whole world.
I was reading Fei Xiaotong’s “America’s Crisis of Faith.” I am fairly well-schooled in Communism/Socialism and their goals, strategies/tactics used to gain control. Fei, a Chinese anthropologist and sociologist, wrote influential books on the U.S. during WWII and the 1950s. In the late 1970s he joined an official delegation to the U.S. He wrote some sympathetic comments from China responding to then Pres. Jimmy Carter’s assessment of the problem Americans faced calling it a “spiritual crisis.” It should be noted that despite Fei’s Marxist critique of American capitalism, some of his remarks indicate a positive attitude about the U.S.
I want to show you the difference between then and now. Take the Marxist Black Lives (lies) Matter movement and those like them. They have a HATRED for America and want to destroy its current culture. Some in Congress, mostly females, want to tear down the U.S. and build their version of a socialist/Marxist utopia. All this is in the news quite often.
Fei wrote about what Carter was saying concerning the energy crisis which was then getting worse and worse. Carter, if you remember, called it a “crisis of faith.” Not the lack of faith in God (although that was also true) but faith in government and politics. Isn’t this currently also the biggest issue? Are Pres. Trump and his “lap dogs” capable of running this nation? The “Left” thinks not. They believe “slow Joe” Biden and his Left “bull dogs” will and must do a better job. So, America is in a crisis-loss of faith in government.
As Fei well knew, China’s past “Cultural War” was devastating. It was so destructive that eventually China had to resort to Capitalism just to stay afloat. Hence you now have capitalist Communism-a real oxymoron. True Marxism is the antithesis of Capitalism. I remember the Carter years. They were lean. Fei mulled over Carter’s worries. He mentions the Blacks of Harlem; “….who are clearly able to earn their own living but still have to rely on welfare to support themselves with dignity.” Communists have always brought the Blacks into the picture-they’ve always been used and abused by both parties.
Fei ends this particular writing with: “No wonder people complain that civilization was created by humans, but humans have been ENSLAVED by it” (A remark against Capitalism; Marxists believe they are more kind, loving, and supporting. In reality, Communism equals loss of personal freedoms-even imprisonment or death if you disagree with them.) The end result is that China today is a “Big Brother” system where the government continually spies on all its citizens.
Fei never mentions God or Jesus, for Communists do not believe in Jesus’ propitiation. They believe in their hopelessly defective system of CONTROL. At the present there are millions who see that America is in both a spiritual and a political crisis. While many have lost faith in the government, they retain their faith in God-as I do.
When Jimmy Carter was elected President (1976), I was in Mexico with my family doing missionary work among the Indians; later we traveled through every country in Central America, down into Colombia and Venezuela where we were arrested in Colombia (believing us to be drug smugglers). As we passed through Nicaragua (1978-79) we were in the midst of the Iran-Contra affair [the Contras were counter- revolutionaries in Nicaragua whom the Reagan administration supported over the “Leftist” regime of the Sandanistas]. We witnessed lots of military destruction, but God saw the four of us through it all.
IF….
If by chance you are in a personal spiritual crisis, cry out to Jesus. God will see you through. If you are running low on hope, spending more time fighting discouragement, cry out to Him. While it is inevitable that life, sooner or later, will turn upside down-it can be turned around. Joy can come again. America is in a real CRISIS. The future looks bleak for sure. These times may seem hopeless for us Christians, but be assured it is that way for the lost as well. They need hope too. Government is not the answer-Christ is. Take comfort in Ephesians 1:18-21:
“My prayer is that light will flood your hearts and that you will understand the hope that was given to you when God chose you. Then you will discover the glorious blessings that will be yours together with all of God’s people. I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for us followers. It is the same wonderful power he used when he raised Christ from death and let him sit at his right side in heaven. There Christ rules over all forces, authorities, powers, and rulers. He rules over all beings in this world and will rule in the future world as well.” (CEV)
We would be foolish to think Communism (or any other “ism”) is the answer. We would also be foolish to believe that evil wins the day. This is not true. The Bible tells us otherwise [Here are some other encouraging scriptures to read: Psalms 62:8; Isaiah 48:17; Psalm 145:9; Psalm 56:8; Isaiah 43:1; Psalm 139:5; Psalm 9:10].
Who knows what ever happened to Fei Xiaotong? He was not a hardcore Communist, yet whether he was or not makes no difference, for the lost will live eternally WITHOUT the ONE who gave His life for them/us. Let us all repent and be saved. Let us become good and faithful soldiers of Jesus, enduring hardness for the sake of His great cause [2 Timothy 2:3,4]. Amen.
