Harrison Hill, author of The Oracle’s Daughter (released in April 2026) did an interview with The Cut (4/3//26). I have that interview (in print). He has a picture of Sarah, our daughter, on the front page with, “The Rise & Fall of an American Cult”. In bold black letters he has, “Before they started the Aggressive Christianity Mission Training Corps, Jim & Lila were aimless hippies.”
His first LIE is his remark, “The Rise & Fall of an American Cult.” ACMTC has not FALLEN! We, as stated in other articles, have not lost one single member since the Sheriffs raid (Aug. 20, 2017). But, two members have died and gone to Heaven. He wants his readers/listeners to believe we have fallen into obscurity. In fact, we have grown! You can read all our articles on all this “Cult” stuff in our PX1-PX6 Files – lots of facts refuting our enemies’ fables, especially the (false) accusations against our children (see PX3 Files where the FBI interviewed 11 children & found NO abuse, physical, sexual, or mental. ZERO!!!).
Cult, Cult, Cult
After Hill’s book came out (April 2026), literally dozens & dozens of articles were published, documentaries & shorts were made – all spouting how mean & terrorizing we were/are. General Deborah (Lila) was their main target. She was/is portrayed as the “wicked witch of the west”. As for me, I’m just a hen-pecked Ahab that cannot, or will not stand up against Jezebel Deborah. Chapter 32 of Oracle’s Daughter, page 238, Hill writes about Detective Steve Chavez (the BAD Sheriff detective who gathered all the info. against us). Hill writes: “… Chavez had worked on all sorts of horrific cases…. But Deborah’s alleged CRIMES were so GRISLY & BARBAROUS as to have NO COMPARISON…” Yep! “NO COMPARISON”!
Hold on here Hill, all those GRISLY & BARBAROUS CRIMES were proven (in court later), to be MADE UP! Yep! Made up! After the homosexual author (we’re told he is a Homosexual) penned the above (p. 238), he wrote the following about me: “Jim was equally culpable, as far as Chavez was concerned, a “FU*KING CUNT” for failing to stand up to his wife.” Hold on Mr. Detective, what was I to stand up against (that Deborah had done)? Just what crime or crimes did she actually commit? Well, we all know that those child abuse / child rape / starvation blah, blah, blah charges were ALL proven to be made up by X-ACMTC members, the State of N.M. & the Cibola Co. Sheriffs dept. Yes, sir, all fabricated!!!
Ok, you’ve got the picture. ACMTC & Generals Jim & Deborah (Lila) Green are BAD BADS! Hill goes out of his way to add fuel to the fire – he lies, makes up falsehoods, slanders, blasphemes, even prays (well, maybe!) that we as a Christian Cult are DESTROYED. Sorry about that, we’ve increased. Praise The Lord!
So Many Cults!
The Guardian wrote a lengthy article: “The Oracle’s Daughter, by Harrison Hill: This story about the rise & fall of an evangelical cult is TERRIFYING… gripping, ALL TRUE. I couldn’t put it down, & it would make one hell of a movie.” – Stephen King, America’s most recognized “horror” author.
Again, we see the words “rise & fall of a cult”. At the end of the Guardian’s article, Sarah (our backslidden daughter) told the Guardian, “There are so many cults in the U.S…. secluded communes where people are subjected to HORRIFIC life-styles…” Yep! This is true. But not every cult/group is evil. Some are, most are not. Well, look up ACMTC / Generals Jim & Deborah Green – see how many articles there are, documentaries/videos/rants – all made up. This is not to say we are not a “cult”; we are! We are “The Cult of the Living God”. As per all these fearful folks that get their pink panties in a wad, they too are cults – “cults of FEAR”, “cults of Hatred”.
In “Crime + Investigation” (article released 4/17/26) – “How Sarah Green Escaped a Militant Christian Cult Started by Her Parents” – on p. 2 Crime & Investigation writes: “Because Deborah & Jim preached celibacy…” What? Just when have we ever preached celibacy? Never! Don’t matter, just make up things for the public to read…& fear.
Oh, by the way, just to clear the air, Sarah never ESCAPED; she left in the middle of the night with a man that was not her husband – leaving 3 small children, a faithful husband & a community of Christian people who loved her behind! Yep! No escaping, just leaving to join the millions of others just like herself – a “world lover”!
Pt. 2
Deborah Green Remains Defiant
I will now explore with you what a cult is, what a church is, what a religion is. But before we start our journey together, let me quote from another article, “Inside the Aggressive Christianity Cult”, posted on the internet, no author’s name. On page 4 the author writes:
“Though it’s no longer used as a base for the cult (Fence Lake, N.M.), its presence still looms large in the community. And Deborah Green, the ring leader of this SINISTER OPERATION, remains defiant. Despite overwhelming evidence of her CRIMES, she has refused to renounce her beliefs.” Yes sir, Gen. Deborah, prophetess, teacher, missionary to the lost, has not, will not, cannot renounce something she’s not guilty of. Well, the court found her innocent of all “crimes” (abuse etc.). Why won’t the “FEAR CULTS” tell the truth about how she was falsely accused & imprisoned?
Another article says Deborah refuses to renounce calling herself a Cultist. Keep this in mind as we go into a historical journey on religions/cults/churches etc., etc.
“Every Religion was once a Cult” – R.A. Wilson
Poor, poor America. Every time she hears the word CULT, Americans for most part PANIC! Oh NO!!! Yes sir, the brainwashed masses Panic! Fear, worry & anxiety sets in causing spells of neurosis, mental/emotional/physical mis functional disorders… lots & lots of depression, phobias, compulsions (quick, overeat, drink). Just that 4-letter word, “CULT”, gives many people a mental breakdown like a toxin that destroys nerves or nervous tissue. Fear sets in – call the authorities! Visit a preacher, a priest, a psych so as not to become just one more nameless/brainless psycho.
We think of danger, violence, isolation, kidnapping. Keep the children hidden – a new cult has arrived. CULT = SCARY!
But what if someone says a new church or religion has come to town? Oh, them, “we nod in polite acceptance,” as one once said. Yep! No problem. Too often we admire their zeal for God or Jesus (like Mormons & JWs et al.) We may disagree doctrinally, but we don’t fear them – they seem so “nice”.
Cults & Religion
These are more similar than we think. After years & years of study of cults, religions, church, communities (Amish, Shakers, Mennonites etc.), I’ve found that established church organizations /denominations, various religions were once called “cults”. But time changed all this. Age gave legitimacy to them. The longer beliefs/doctrines last, the less we question them. We accept them. Ah, no more “fear”!
I have written articles over the past 40 plus years about all this. When we established ACMTC back in the early 80s, we were quickly BRANDED a CULT. Not just a cult but a militant, dangerous cult. Was it our Bible teachings that scared the population, esp. the local churches & the homosexual media, or was it the uniforms we wore? We were called strange, isolated, hence, suspicious behavior we were accused of; Prophecy, speaking in tongues, healings, casting out devils – all things the early Church did. Yep! Nothing new.
Treated like gods/goddesses
Our enemies think so. The “cult” profile says leaders are idolized, worshipped. But not so with us. Deborah & I have never lived above those under our care. We never lived a separate life away from them. We never spent $$ on expensive vacations, clothing, vehicles, foods etc. Even our worst enemies can’t say this. Sure, we received respect but respect is not idolatry. We taught right out of the Bible – see our thousands of CDs/DVDs/videos/publications. I challenge any & all to find one mention of “worship us!”, “praise us!” “give $$ to us personally!” We provided jobs, the people earned salaries. Later, after our city businesses were shut down, God made a way to make $$ for our mission work. Neither Deborah nor myself took a salary after the Art Shops were STOLEN by adulteress Maura Schmeirer & her devilish attorney.
Cult Founder vs Religion Founder
Do your own research. Dig into the world’s religions – ancient & contemporary.
One of the first criticisms coming from the Anti-Cult cult is that the founders think they have access to some higher truth or truths. While this is true of some, it is not true of all. WHY, I ask, would we Christians not have access to God, the Son & the Holy Spirit? The Bible says we CAN KNOW Them. How do you think the Scriptures came into being? “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, & is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction (i.e. training/discipline) in righteousness.” – 2 Tim. 3:16, NKJV. What we find in this verse is the Logos & Rhema – Word/Spirit. God communicates His Word to His people via the Spirit, “that the man (& woman) of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work,” vs. 17. The Hebrew word for “inspiration” is “neshâmâh”, wind/Spirit/breath (divine), (see Job 32:8);
The Greek word is “theopneustos”, breath, breathed in, from “theos”, the supreme Divinity (God).” (see 2 Tim. 3:16).
Besides the above texts, we find the “gifts” given to God’s people (see 1 Cor. 12:1-12).
These “gifts”, wisdom, knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, & the interpretation of tongues.” These “gifts” come from the One True God / Holy Spirit.
2 Cor. 3:17 says, “the Lord is the Spirit…” Eph. 4:11, 12 tells us about other “gifts”, i.e. “ministry gifts” = apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors & teachers. These men & women of God that have been filled with the Spirit, given positions of authority in the body of Christ “… for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,” vs. 12.
While critics mock God’s leaders for “hearing from God”, the Scriptures tell us that God can & does SPEAK to His servants. “Oh, they say God speaks to them!!!” is a common criticism from anti-Christs. While I do not believe every cult/religion hears from the Divine, we can’t lump all believers in with them. God DOES SPEAK to us! No apology coming.
Special/Chosen
These same critics hurl at us, “They think they are special, chosen…” We are! What does the apostle Peter write (under the inspiration of God)? “But you ARE a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY NATION, His own SPECIAL PEOPLE…” – 1 Pet. 2:9. Since we ARE these things, why wouldn’t the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit commune with us? What did John write in Rev. 1:10, 11? “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, & I heard behind me a loud VOICE, …… saying, ‘I am the Alpha & the Omega…” From Genesis to Revelation, we find God communicating with His people, even speaking to those who were not (called) His people. So, WHY do critics mock us for hearing from God, as if this is a STRANGE advent?
Isolation
Here is another “scary” thing – they live in isolation. I’ve covered this “I” thing in other articles. We’ve never lived in total isolation, never. If this were true, there would be no “Taking Jesus to all the World”. There would be no “Missions Training Corps”. This (false) accusation has ZERO merit. ZERO! But the “I” word is meant to instill fear into the hearts of the public: “Why are they a closed community?” There have been times when we did not allow the public to come and go in our communities. They wanted to snoop. “Poop Snoopers” we call them. They just wanted to dig out some “crap” on us so as to shut us down. What do you think the Aug. 20, 2017, raid was all about? It resulted in jail/prison time for some of us (see our PX3-6 Files).
“Well, Gen., you must be guilty, for you & your wife went to prison.” Yep! sure did! Not because we committed any crime, but because the State of N.M., the law enforcements & a few backslidden X-ACMTC members fabricated a “horror” genre (read all about it in our PX3-6 Files).
Control
Oh, this one is used over & over. But isn’t this the goal of our accusers, to gain CONTROL over us – whatever it takes, however long it takes. We have antagonists that have been after us for nearly 40 years! 40 years! Talk about demon possession!!! These fear mongers take authority from God to mean fleshly control. We can’t deny this does happen. There are many cults/religions that do this – “Control” via “Fear”. But this has never been our MO. We teach & preach to instill fear of the Lord in members, not fear of us. One BIG CRY BABY – Maura Schmierer – claims today that we are still in her dreams (fearful since 1987!) Read her complaints in our PX2-6 Files.
Control is the foundation of most major religions. But not all religions or cults do this. Manipulation & control. Well, aren’t most political movements/establishments controlled themselves by manipulation and control? Look at American politics today, right now. Both parties want CONTROL. The left & far left call Trump all kinds of names because he has some (not all) control over the “Wild Ass” spirit of the crazies that are a CULT of lurid weirdos or erratic & violent behaviors. Talk about a “Weirdness Cult”, the left has given birth to such creatures. And they think we are control freaks that prey upon the people. Good luck with your “men can get pregnant” & “Trump is a Nazi” BS.
Convince
This is a trait: convince people that “truth” is exclusive & salvation is conditional. Well, this is true if we’re speaking of Biblical Christianity. Jesus made this exclusive statement: “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, & the LIFE, no one comes to the Father except through Me.” (Jn. 14:6) These are His words, not ours. And, salvation is conditional: Jesus says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, UNLESS one is born again (from above), he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” So, what is the “Condition” of obtaining Heaven? Being born again (see also Jn. 3:5-7). And, in order to be “born again”, one has to REPENT of their sins – for both Jesus & John taught this (see Mt. 3:2 & 4:17. Peter also taught this in Acts 2:38);
I was reading an article How Cults are just religions in early stages. Although the author degrades Christianity, what he said made sense.
Early Christianity
When one studies the early Church & the early Church fathers, one will see that the religion of Judaism & the Roman Empire continued to be ENEMIES of the “Cult of the Living God”, aka “Christianity”, aka “New World Order”.
The early Christians were seen as a “dangerous cult” by both Judaism & Rome. Early followers of “the Way” (see Acts 19:23 & 9:2) had to meet in secret. There are times when this will be necessary. This is not “seclusion” as the anti-Christs would have us believe; it was for safety & preservation. This is our MO (modus operandi) presently. God’s Spirit has taught us the principle of “passive/aggressive”.
Cult: What Does it Mean?
At the end of this article, I’ll point you to our other articles on cults. Simply put, according to the English Dictionary, “cult” means care, cultivation, a system of religious worship or ritual, living in a colony (or compound), with a charismatic leader (or leaders) who indoctrinates members with unorthodox or extremist views…” Let’s stop here. “Unorthodox”, “extremist views”? Sounds like Jesus & Biblical Christianity. don’t forget that Jesus broke away from Orthodox Judaism. He began to teach extremist views & doctrines – “eat My flesh & drink My blood” stuff. This SCARED the Jews; it scared the pagans. Was Jesus speaking of cannibalism? He taught that we, His followers, must also carry the cross to die on it (fig.). he taught that the non-Jews would be included into His Kingdom. He taught things that offended both Jews & pagans – He was a true cult leader! He was certainly a charismatic figure, for He was filled with the Holy Spirit – without measure!!! (see Jn. 3:34; Jn. 1:16;) The Eng. Dict. goes on to define “cult”: “a devoted attachment, admiration for, a person, principle, or lifestyle, a group of followers, a sect etc.” This could describe just about everything in a social setting, not even related to religion. So, why are we brainwashed to believe “cult” = “evil”? What are we to say about sports, military, businesses, etc., etc.? Isn’t the U.S. gov. one BIG CULT? Certainly is! Isn’t the “left” / democratic party an evil, violent, hateful, sick, mentally ill “cult”??? Sure is. And isn’t the GOP pretty much the same? Yep! Sure is!
“Cult” or “Faith”
Just because something is small doesn’t mean it is a cult. Like I said, Christianity started out small, hence, “a cult”. As it grew over the centuries, it is now called “Christianity”. It has become a world religion, along with Islam & Judaism & many other religions. Buddhism, Hinduism et al. were once called cults. Over time these cults became institutionalized. Today we would never call these world religions, cults. What was once extreme/unorthodox/fringe became mainstream. What was once “cultish” became sacred, even praised.
Sad, Really Sad!
One person writes: “It is sad that people get drawn into cults!” I can pretty well guess that this person belongs to an anti-cult cult! Maybe a male who is a sports fan. They wear the shirt of their favorite team, idolize the “captain” of the team, shout, scream, jump up & down when a tough down is made. They follow the team’s comings & goings. You know the type. But aren’t they a “cult” follower as much as one in religion? Well, to be honest, isn’t sports “cultish”?
Sure, we can point out the Jonestown saga. We had just come out of South America when this hit the news – hundreds of dead bodies, a real cult!!! But lately the authorities have come forward saying many of the “cultists” had needle marks, saying someone (U.S. gov.?) had injected them with poison. We’ve all been taught that Jim Jones was so much a “god” to the people, the people followed his “order” to commit suicide. Well, I did a teaching back in 1995 saying then what is now being said; the people did not willingly take their own lives. I’m sure some did, but the majority did not. Yet Jonestown (South America) is the most anti-cult propaganda out there.
We could use another earlier “cult” leader, Hitler. He was the perfect “cult” leader. We could go through history & pick out “cult” leaders/followers.
Today, here in good ol’ “Christian” America, gangs, illegals, wokeites, demoncratic party, celebrities are celebrated, glorified. Even classical philosophies are “cultish”. Homer’s Iliad, Dickens & Shakespeare etc. Thallic rationalism, Socratic questioning, Pyrrhic skepticism, Diogones’s cynicism, Epicureanism, Stoicism – all “cultish” Good & evil societies (dozens & dozens), Mafias, armies… the Roman Catholic Church & Islam has murdered millions over the years. As I write this, socialism/communism is trying – once again! – to gain control of our politics. (see all my articles on these two cults!).
We can even point to conservative extremism – cultish! We have persecutions, prosecutions on both sides. Our whole education system has become cultish – worship education / denounce it! Stupidity has become America’s darling cult; gullibleness also.
Obedience?
Those of the anti-cult cult love to point out the folly of followers who obey those in charge. Sure, there are those who blindly follow but some do it out of loyalty & love, not fear, as the anti-cult cult “experts” tell us. These people we’re had to deal with over the past 4+ decades, just make up stories in order to make “good” stories of terror & horror in order to get the authorities to act! Yep! Been investigated by all kinds of “authorities”, including the CIA (because of our overseas work).
The gods & goddesses
“Experts”. This is what they claim to be. They are no more experts than I am – I never claimed to be an “expert” in Christian matters – just a follower of Jesus Christ the Lord. But to listen to them “cults” are scary, even dangerous, in need of extermination! Yep! DESTROY those people who take the Bible seriously. If they can’t have literal proof of “evil”, they make it up.
Mass STUPIDITY
I can’t think of a better word to use in reference of all this “cult” stuff. The RISE of STUPIDITY is shocking today (here in the U.S.). While they denounce those of us who PUT CHRIST JESUS FIRST, they put their own reasonings first. Even if these ones do not believe in a personal God or god or religion, they believe in themselves- they belong to the anti-cult cult!
One smart non-believer at least had it right when they said, “you’re not living. You’re waiting to DIE! Life is a joke!”
Another deluded soul once said that any belief is just a belief FABRICATED by the mind which filters info. to a conclusion thru a matrix of our preconceived beliefs. Info is filtered thru our education, experience, prejudices to align with what we already believe. Your mind will never make you a liar, what you believe it will find evidence for. Good luck with that.
Logic over Faith
Well, the world is full of those who put logic over faith. Faith is just that, faith. Even atheists exercise faith. They have to believe that there is NO GOD. It is funny how these “Atheists” spend so much time trying to convince others that God does not exist. Is this stupid? They tell us that it is indisputable that there is no creator – yet they can’t tell us how humankind came into being – logically.
What or How?
We’ve been taught to either believe or not to believe in God. We’ve been taught things in schools/universities that are not true as well as truth. Indoctrination (“brainwashing” I call it) against God is futile, pointless, for the whole creation proves there is a creator/designer. Society in general teaches us “What to think” rather than “How to think” (see Prov. 22:6. Thank God I was taught by my parents that Christ & Christianity ARE REAL).
Q. Why is it that those who are non-believers are so hostile towards those who are believers? They get angry, even murderous. Why bother if they actually believe in “no God”. Why get HOSTILE if God does not exist? On the other hand, religions like Islam have people murdered or crippled for life if they refuse to believe in their (phony) prophet (Muhammad) & their phony (moon god) Allah.
I personally don’t care if you are an atheist or not. You are free to believe. But, we as Christians, are commanded to take the Gospel of Christ to ALL nations… & make disciples (Mt. 28:19). This is not done by fear or force, it is done for the love of Christ & the love for the lost.
One honest person had written, “…in these, my declining years, I continue to glacially gravitate toward nihilism.” Good for you. Nihilism is to “believe” in “disbelief” that there is a god/God, morality, truth, religion. In short, believe in nothingness. Yet this is not truthful – they believe that they are right in their unbelief!!! Duh!
Conclusion
It was a great thinker that wrote: “A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.”
As I have studied the Bible for over 55 years now, along with many other religious books & philosophies, my conclusion is “I don’t want to miss heaven because I’ve grown old & tired, giving up because I see the world much, much DARKER than when I began my journey long ago,” when I read such things as “Is God Evil?,” “can Good exist without God?,” “Is morality really based on God?,” “Bible stories that don’t make sense,” “Stop believing blindly,” “Is Christianity just a copy of older religions?,” “The issue with Divine justice,” “Does God have a plan for man?,” “Why worship God?,” “wrong belief = punishment,” “Lies in Christianity,” “Religious arguments destroyed!,” “Moral contradictions destroyed!,” “Moral contradictions in the Bible,” “Absurd Christian beliefs,” “Christianity makes no sense!,” “Why does God stay silent?,” “Why & who do we obey?,” “Does God hear us?,” “Why is doubt a sin?,” “Why so many Gods?,” “How religion shapes our morality & ethics?,” “Who made God?,” “Why believe?,” “Why fear Hell?,” “Why pray?,” I could go on & on here.
God, A Human Invention?
I get it! There are those who start with good questions. They think. I have no answers for those who believe there is no god: they are “believers”. All I can do is share with them what God’s Word says. If they don’t believe the Bible, there is no dialogue. I can’t PROVE God’s existence. Creation itself proves the existence of a Creator just as the buildings, homes, skyscrapers, etc. that you see prove the existence of a builder. Even if you never meet the builders of the buildings you live and work in, you know without a doubt that the builders existed / exist because buildings do not build themselves just as creation does not create itself. But with Billions of souls (then & now together) believing in God & His Word, all these can’t be wrong or deceived. Actually there are few in number that are genuine Unbelievers.
All I can say is that when I repented of my sins, asking for God’s forgiveness, God’s Spirit came into my spirit – I was born again (see Jn. 3:3, 5, 7; Eph. 3:16, 17 tells us that Christ “may dwell in your (our) hearts through faith.”). Jesus says in Jn. 14:23 this: “If anyone loves Me, he (or she) will keep My Word; & My Father will love him, & we will come to him & make Our home with him.” Notice the words “We” & “Our”. How many religions /cults /sects /societies et al. can make such a claim? How many founders actually “live in” the hearts (spirits) of their followers? Sure, one can live in the minds but having the Divinity live in the heart is altogether another experience.
It is said that “religion” is humanity’s oldest delusion. And it is also believed by some that atheists are more moral than religious persons. And, there are those who argue that there is proof that Jesus never existed. Good luck with this one also. Still others claim, God is a delusion! Those who believe this are deluded!
Why Do We Criticize “Religion”?
People who read our writings question why we run down “religion”. We explain that “religion” as we perceive it, is human oriented: Biblical Christianity is Spirit oriented. BC is a living, loving relationship. One person said, religions were made by men in power. Christ did not start a new religion, but a New World Order, e.g. the “Cult of the Living God” (see our site called by the same name where I have articles on “cult”). I don’t agree with all said about “religion”, but the way we see it & teach it, religion is more “human” & less “Spiritual”. This is not to say all religions are of the devil. But there are religions that use God’s name for their own gain.
Back to Cults
It is believed & thus said, cults isolate their members. This may be true for many cults, but not true concerning us. We do not isolate our members. Read all the newspaper articles, articles by journalists, T.V. docs etc. They, on the one hand, claim we live isolated lives, yet they report our comings & goings. We’ve been to numerous countries. We’ve worked in many big & small cities/towns here in the U.S. We’ve had businesses in cities/towns, we’ve held meetings as well. We’ve worked campuses/universities all across the U.S. Now, HOW can we be ISOLATED???
Control & Maintain Control
This is how religion & cults work. This is their MO, their profile. But not all R/C act in the same manner. When Deborah & I left our church denomination/organization back in 1977, we were told we would go to Hell if we left. Our pastor told us this. Yet, in the years to come, this very same pastor met up with us at the Gallup, N.M. Native Market – he & his wife both said they had left the very same church. They claimed they would never go back! The reason? Control! Joyce is dead; Neil still works among the Natives, being a Native from Oklahoma City, OK.

“They Held Me Captive!”
“Extra, Extra, read all about it.” Yes, folks, some of our X-ACMTC officers (3 captains) claim we held them captive, abused them (see our PX1-6 Files for verification). They all claim they ESCAPED a Para-Military Cult! Escaped? This implies we had them as prisoners. Good to SCARE the public “I Escaped a Cult!” is what Harrison Hill’s Oracle’s Daughter book is all about. “Many religious people are good, kind & honest,” the anti-cult cult people tell us, “but that doesn’t mean the systems they’re part of are harmless.” Good people can exist inside bad ideas, & that is what makes it harder to question. One cult expert has said, it’s harder when it looks like love, speaking of “abuse”. Well, folks, doesn’t our U.S. gov. abuse its people endlessly? … in one form or another? Laws are made. Laws are broken. Law breakers are punished… even when praying or going to Church. We’ve been abused too many times to count, by X-members, law enforcement, the public etc. But, we know what God’s Word says on these matters: “Yes, & all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus WILL SUFFER PERSECUTION.” – 2 Tim. 3:12. This is why I continually write about persecution & prosecution & prison time. Paul goes on in vs. 13, “But evil men & impostors will grow worse & worse, deceiving & being deceived.” We can take this to mean, in religion & in anti-religion. When the pagan authorities lie & commit malfeasance in order to convict a person/persons/cults, aren’t they just as BAD as the ones they have accured?
Power! Cults are Obsessed with it!
This may be true, well, is true for many cults/religions. But not all who have been BRANDED “CULT” is guilty. Take the Salvation Army, started by Generals Booth in the 1800s. They were called a militant, dangerous cult in the beginning. We worked with them & for them in the late 1970s & early 1980s. We adopted their military style uniform, & we too underwent severe SCRUTINY by both the world & the Church… just as they did long, long ago in England.
I’ve read all their books, seen their lives. They were not obsessed with “power lust” as accused. Neither are we. Our desire for our recruits/officers is to “go” & “grow” … Taking Jesus to all the World.
Dark Secrets
We can all agree that there are very dark secret societies. Some require blood oaths etc. They wrote rules that look “moral” on the surface (like Masonry) but were designed to protect power & powerful leaders. (see Freemasonry & Masonic Temples / Mormonism). Power needs belief to function, & belief, when enforced, becomes domination, & when domination is in full force, damnation follows. [note: a good book to read is Walter Martins “Kingdom of Cults”. There are dozens & dozens of esoteric/witchcraft/priestcraft books available. I’ve read my share. Some are so outrageous they border the insane. Others are softer, nevertheless, dangerous].
Don’t Search. Don’t Question. Just Believe & Obey
Well, this never set well with me, I did search, I did question. When I was saved, I believed & I’m trying to obey what I read in God’s Word. Call His Word FALSE, call it DECEIT, call it DELUSION. That is your right & that is your opinion. When one reads the Qur’an & Islamic Hadith, one will quickly find out that Islam is a religion of the SWORD (take time to read up on this BLOODY & HATEFUL religion. I quote right from their (false) books). Islam demands Muslims to either kill/murder or enslave those who do not believe in Islam. Now this is a genuine “death cult” & Anti-Christian / Anti-Christianity / Anti-Everyone religion/cult: submission is obligatory.
Damage Done
Some cults/religions/societies actually use FORCE/VIOLENCE. The ones that do not, can cause deep psychological harm/damage, even death. It is good if one reads up on what these C/R/S believe. As per us, we present thousands of Bible teachings. We challenge our critics to read or view (DVDs/videos) our teachings. We’re yet to find a single critic that has pointed out where we misuse/abuse Scripture. Oh, they claim, “I don’t believe this & that,” but never give their opposing views from the Bible. They just fling accusations at us. One of their main BITCHES is that women can’t teach or preach, “Thus says the Bible.” Yet I have dozens of Bible studies on this very topic – online for all to read. They never point out where I am wrong. I still challenge any & all to PROVE me wrong concerning “women in the ministry”. Hill, in his Oracle’s Daughter can’t wait to TRASH my wife, calling her a false teacher/prophetess/criminal.
I’m sure this article will give Mr. Hill a painful migraine, even nausea. The BS he has written about us, our group, has given us a boatload of nausea – it is truly sickening the way he misjudges us, misquotes, demonizes us – all to sell his “fiction”, “non-fiction” pulp book. The way he glorifies liars & frauds, sex perverts & blasphemers. It truly astonishes us.
Cult Survivors
Yeah, right. As per these “escapees”, Maura, Sarah, Jamie, Julie, Lisa, et al., they all claim they ESCAPED the mean o Generals! Yep! They all say it. But where is their proof – I mean hard, physical evidence that we held them prisoner? Zero proof – just their word. And we have proof we present in our PX Files.

Take for example our short (posted at AC.Net, p. 1: “Rebutting “The Oracle’s Daughter” (1 min. 58 sec.). One comment (@The Collection… of Books) says:
“Oh look, a cult nitpicking tiny details from a book that also makes huge claims probably not so easily waved away.” This person is referring to the “How a woman’s daring ESCAPE from a CULT led to ‘The Oracle’s Daughter’” – San Bernardino Sun, April 15, ‘26 (Stuart Miller); “The Struggle to Tell the Story of an American Cult – & the Woman who ESCAPED” (April 24, 2026, by Patrick Sauer: “How Sarah Green ESCAPED a Militant Christian Cult Started by Her Parents”, April 7, 2026 (journalist interviews Harrison Hill). I have several dozen articles here – ALL telling of Sarah’s ESCAPE. But she did not ESCAPE, as our short video proves, she left in the middle of the night. Neither did any of those “Escapees” you see on the internet / read about in articles/newspapers. No Sir! Not one single person escaped. so, why do these anti-cult cult people lie? To tell the truth will not sell or raise HELL against us.
Hey, “Collection of Books”, we are not nitpicking, we are presenting FACTS, something you folks won’t do. We are protesting over all your disinformation, lies, & hype. All this “ESCAPE” BS is designed to ELICIT pity for the “victim” & PUNISHMENT for the “abuser”. In Hill’s books, page 258 we read: “Lohbeck (Deborah’s first attorney) wasn’t wrong, Sarah had wanted to go on an adventure. She had wanted to get out of there (camp), to explore the world.” Why did our daughter want to “explore” the world? She had been on many adventures in the years of mission work. We saw plenty of “adventure”, some life-threatening.
Sarah had pledged to serve the Lord Jesus just as we had done. She had seen what the world could do to people. When we served at the large Salvation Army H.Q. in Miami, Florida, she saw WRECKED men & women. One of her beloved alcohol addicted friends dropped DEAD in the hallway. Others committed suicide. Sarah & Josh were young then, but as they grew older, they went to the mission fields with us. Josh nearly died in Malawi, Africa of malaria. 2 Lt. Brad Rankin, Josh & Sarah’s close friend, died & was buried on our compound H.Q. [note: later his anti-Christ family got gov. permission to exhume his body, had it burnt upon a Hindu altar! What an abomination. A Christian man (early 20’s) being burnt upon a Hindu altar!
Hill writes: “Lohbeck’s implicit argument was that these SHAMEFUL (my emph.) desires for a mother, at least if they came at the expense of her children (3); that Sarah had lost her right to these freedoms the moment her firstborn son had fallen into Deborah’s outstretched hands,(born en caul) his body encased in the strange, mystical caul.” (Deborah & I delivered Josiah at our southern N.M. Outpost, Mission Restoration.)
Hill continues: “The question, then – the ultimate, unanswerable question – was whether or not Sarah’s legitimate desire for a life of her own, a life with space for curiosity, hope, excitement, romance, humor, heartbreak, disappointment, the whole tangled tapestry of the human experience.” This is Hill’s view of life without Christ. But Sarah had made her own choice to follow Christ. We did not make it for her. We always present the Gospel to new recruits. But Sarah grew up in a Christian home. She could have left when turning 18. She did not have to SNEAK out in the middle of the night, with a man that was not her husband, leaving 3 small children for us to care for while she “experienced” the world. Yet we were charged in all these matters by a liberal court, judge, jury, law enforcement… with several X-ACMTC members CHEERING!!!
Lohbeck: “You could have, if you wanted to take [the kids], you could have filed, for example, a custody case or something like that to try to get custody of them.” The attorney said, “You chose not to do that!”
Satan’s Victory!
Satan is cunning. Call evil for what it is, it destroys people, places, & things. Sarah never once came to Deborah or to me and talked about her wanting to leave. No! She left and we were left with her 3 children to raise. Hill writes (p. 258, quoting Lohbeck’s questionings): “And you’ve stated when I talked to you that you’re very happy now; that you no longer believe in God, believe in Jesus Christ, & that you no longer want any kind of religion or rigid structure in your life, correct?” Sarah goes on to tell the attorney that she doesn’t believe in anything! Yep! Nothing! But she tells journalists, in interviews, that she visits a psyche several times a week! This runaway is now a psycho. Where is her freedom, her peace?
At least Hill gives space in Sarah’s “two-sidedness” (p. 259). Hill writes: “In leaving her children, was she being bold or selfish? courageous or harmful?”
The End!
Lohbeck asked Sarah, “… have you ever told anybody you hate your mother?” Sarah responds, “I feel sorry for my mother.” Sorry? why? Deborah was a loving mother who gave much time, money, & love to Sarah. She has suffered over the years, being persecuted, first, for being a woman preacher/teacher, secondly, for being a dedicated woman of God – not willing to bow to the opinions of others, especially hateful media reporters & Church critics.
Hill continues to write about Lohbeck’s questionings: “To this day, do you love your mother?” Sarah responds with ‘I do!’”
Hill has a great dislike for Deborah. One can pick this up as they read Oracle’s Daughter. Hill calls Gen. Deborah, my faithful wife, a criminal, false prophetess, hateful, disgraceful and other choice names.
As Sarah was grilled, under oath, Deborah in attendance, Hill describes the scene (although he was not present): “And through Sarah’s testimony, Deborah had remained a sphinx (this is a new one!), unmoving & inscrutable. Gone was the vainglorious prophet of yore (i.e. “in time past”) …” Hill is incorrect here. Deborah was on trial on made up charges. She was and still is God’s prophetess. Nothing changed. Hill wants his readers to believe that God had forsook her, hence, a “prophet of yore”. But wasn’t Jesus in this very same situation before? At His trial there were those who made up lies against Him. What did He do? He was silent. I’m sure Jesus, too, looked dejected/rejected by His own people. The Bible says He opened not His mouth.
Hill continues to describe Deborah’s appearance: “… Brig. General (Hill gets the rank wrong: She was by then a Maj. General) who’d led her forces through the think of spiritual warfare…” But what about Hill’s statement found on page 50: “Maura listened closely as Jim & Lila (Deborah) laid out their (our, together) vision for a spiritual army. God had called them to leave the Church (1977), they said, to TAKE UP ARMS against the forces of secularism & mainstream Christianity…” This is a LIE! Hill & other dishonest authors, journalists, doc. makers, ALL, say that we were training in physical warfare – arms = carnal weapons.
Hill continues: “In the WRECKAGE (my emph.) of Deborah’s former self sat a skinny, stooped old woman.” Hill doesn’t tell his readers just how female inmates were/are treated. Deborah was in her 70s; the food was/is pure gross. I mean some of it (I was in prison for 5 years, 9 months) was uneatable. Deborah was a vegan (as I was too). This kind of food was nearly impossible to get. Deborah lost lots of weight. She was sick a lot. Thanks to the liars that put her behind bars – on FALSE CHARGES!!!

I’ll end with this:
“When Sarah finished testifying, she gave Deborah a final look & exited the courtroom. She felt drained, exhausted, like the horrible woman & mother Lohbeck had made her out to be.” “Made her out to be”? Lohbeck presented FACTS Mr. Hill, not lies as you do. The FACT was, Sarah had abandoned her 3 small children. This in itself is a CRIME! Was Sarah charged? Nope! We were charged with kidnapping! Lohbeck did not paint Sarah to be something she was not.
Hill continues: “The photo of Trinity (aka Miracle Green, Sarah’s adopted daughter from Africa), too, had been profoundly upsetting. It was one thing to hear about the alleged ABUSE (my emph.), another thing to actually see it.” That photo, dear readers, showed Miracle’s legs, scars, not left by Deborah’s BEATINGS as the officials claimed, but by the operation on her legs by surgery (done in Mexico). This was pure deceit. When the court actually asked Miracle to show the scars of ABUSE done by witch Deborah), she could not show a SINGLE scar! Yet Deborah was found guilty of child sexual & child physical abuse – later dropped after “Deborah” was found innocent – after 4 1/2 years in a hostile prison. Well, folks, Hill et al. spins a tall tale of Terror. It gets attention. It helps to demonize those who want to live separated lives in Christ. What we have in America is a growing Anti-Cult Cult. These poop-snoopers lie, lie, lie. If not lies, half-truths are presented. Mis/Disinformation, propaganda, smear jobs, fraud, you name the weapon, they use them. Hill’s final words:
“… Sarah’s past has little obvious bearing on her & her kid’s lives today (speaking of Sarah’s new family). Jim & Deborah & the churning welter of their god-haunted lives have no valence here, no power over what happens to Sarah & her new family.”
Well, FYI Mr. Hill, our current lives are not “god-haunted”. We are the same two people, we still love the Lord, still write, preach, prophesy & witness for Jesus Christ the Lord. Our lives are MORE ENRICHED by what we went thru. We are not “FALLEN” as you & your hate-filled buddies (who have written hate-filled articles since OD came out). We will continue to “Take Jesus to All the World”. Sarah continues to see her psych, pop pills & deals with defeat.
