Harrison’s HATRED made him LEAVE OUT the most important DETAILS
I walked back through Harrison’s article in The Cut, and here is my summary of him:
Harrison maligns ACMTC for the clothes we wear. He makes fun of our Christian names that God gave us. He speaks evil of Biblical spiritual practices like deliverance and speaking in tongues.
Harrison mocks General Deborah in her role as a prophet, disdainfully calling her an “oracle” in his article and book title. He blasphemes Orthodox Christian practices like intercessory prayer. He condescends the idea of Christian women in leadership. In essence, Harrison mocks the Bible itself.
Harrison tries to chide us for living disciplined lives: for holding daily meetings, for being “more structured,” and for following the teachings of Jesus like the age-old Christian practice of Biblical “separation.”
Harrison revives debunked accusations against us that have always contradicted the facts. He chooses to believe embittered people who are evidentially proven pathological liars. In contrast, Harrison will not genuinely consider the testimonies of mentally stable people, even eyewitnesses.
Harrison can’t see, or refuses to see, contradictions in Maura’s and Sarah’s stories, while he inexcusably screws up important details in the Generals’ personal history.
I believe it’s apparent that Harrison Hill HATES the Generals, especially General Deborah. Besides his smear piece in The Cut, Harrison’s near-400-page book is a murderous character-assassination attempt.
The Oracle’s Daughter is not a non-fiction, well-researched historical account. It’s Harrison’s HATE-FILLED MESSAGE to the world.
To me, his words are heartless because they are factless. Harrison didn’t properly research Sarah’s or Maura’s accusations. He didn’t vet the accusers. But how could he? Not being a repentant person or a genuine Christian, how could Harrison discern the lies in the mouths of others when he hasn’t let God reveal the lies in his own heart?

MISSING JESUS
Harrison’s most important missed detail is Jesus. Second to that is his lack of respect for what Jesus did in the Generals’ lives.
Jesus was always everything to the Generals. They always gave JESUS the glory. You cannot find me a single teaching, exhortation or prophecy where the Generals glorify themselves above Christ. Go ahead, read every booklet, every online article, watch every Youtube video. You won’t find them ever stealing God’s glory!
I should know. I’ve lived and worked with the Generals for decades, and I was a believer before I ever met them. Their love for Jesus and the way they glorify and obey Him – that’s what drew me in. I knew they were real Christians from the start.
All the teachings I’ve heard, all the corrections, instructions, admonitions I’ve received (2 Timothy 3:16), they’ve all drawn me closer to Jesus. That’s how it’s supposed to be. Good leaders draw us closer to our Savior.
I never heard a single person at ACMTC say anything different. Only a few troubled souls have changed their tunes after leaving, after dramatically disobeying God in ways that any Christian could recognize. Maybe they didn’t blame themselves like other backsliders do, and instead chose to blame others for their own sins. Maybe they were influenced by a fellow bitter soul. It’s nothing new. When a man or woman chases sin and leaves God, they are drawn to other quitters: “birds of a feather flock together,” and malicious scoffers gather to seek gain for themselves.
BELITTLING JESUS
Harrison belittles Jesus and His work by claiming that the Generals try to control people or manipulate them. That makes it appear as if all the changes in each person’s life, all the drug addicts set free, sex addicts delivered from demons, alcoholics given strength over slavery to drink – it was all just the Generals’ manipulations. NO! HARRISON, YOU CAN’T TAKE AWAY THE GLORY THAT JESUS DESERVES IN THESE PEOPLE’S LIVES! GOD WILL NOT HAVE THAT! Jesus called all those people to Himself, to change their lives by HIS power, through the Generals. God uses people to reach people. When you scoff that, you scoff God.
ABUSING COMMUNITY
Harrison, I believe you have abused the concept of Christian community. You have misportrayed it; made it something evil.
Community has always been God’s ideal. Community is self-sacrifice, contributing, helping, working together, pooling resources to spread the Gospel Message in the best ways possible. Community is God’s work. It draws us closer to Jesus by showing us all who we really are – needy of Him, needy of each other.

Harrison, I believe you chose maliciousness, so you will only publish lies.
And fiction can never become non-fiction, no matter how you promote it.
Harrison Hill is Janet Cooke all over, but worse. I say this because of the BITTER anti-Christian sentiment that seeps from his writing.
Whoever is reading this, I don’t want to end this series by focusing on the sin of a man. I want to GLORIFY GOD for the work He has done in the Generals’ lives, in my life, in the lives of all those who were ever touched by Aggressive Christian missionaries and materials, ALL AROUND THE WORLD; those who are still BEING CHANGED BY JESUS CHRIST’S MIGHTY POWER. Even those who were part of ACMTC and turned, like Judas did, unto selfish lies, I know God changed their lives too, though some might now deny the great work God had done in them. What a shame and eventual damnation on them! But NOT ON GOD! GOD IS THE GREAT MIRACLE-WORKING GOD!!!
God the Father, Jesus Christ the Lord, the Holy Spirit – ONE GOD – is the ONLY ONE worth living and dying for! REPENT (Turn from sin), Turn unto Jesus, Believe He Alone has died for you and His Blood Alone can wash away all your sins, Release the control of your life unto Him, Cry out to be Born Again (Made Alive!) by the Power of His Spirit, Pray to be Baptized in (Filled with!) His Holy Spirit, Follow and Obey Him, until the end, and you will have Everlasting Life!
That’s the message of the Bible. That’s the message the Generals have always taught.
