– Introduction –

“The words of a talebearer are like TASTY trifles, and they go down into the inmost body.” – Proverbs 18:8 NKJV
This is what we have in Oracle’s Daughter in which Harrison Hill is publishing his book off of.
When Lies become Truth
“Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, STRIFE ceases.” – Proverbs 26:20 NKJV
In both of the above Proverbs the word “talebearer” means “a slanderer, a whisperer of lies” (Hebrew, nirgân).
The author of Proverbs, Solomon, was inspired by the Holy Spirit when he penned these Scriptures. He went on to write: “The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles…” vs.22
TASTY TRIFLES? Yep! Something of little value or importance. Lies, disinformation, half-truths have little true value except to harm others. This is what Oracle’s Daughter is all about: gossip, slander to wound others.
Proverbs has this to say about LIES:
“A true witness delivers (lit., saves) souls, but a DECEITFUL witness speaks LIES” – Prov. 14:25 KJV. The literal reading says, “And he (or she) who breathes out LIES is DECEIT.” The background of this text, in these early days when everything depended on the testimony of the witness, it was possible for a true witness to save a man’s life or for a false witness to condemn an innocent man or woman to death (see Prov. 6:18 & 19; 12:17; 19:28; 25:18). This last text uses weapons of war to describe a “false witness”, e.g., “a maul, a sword, & a sharp arrow.” When someone uses lies & deceit against another, they are basically Murdering them!!!
