HERE IS A SPIRITUAL WAR GOING ON. Are you involved? First Timothy 6:12 tells us to “Fight the good fight of faith.” The Holy Scriptures frequently refer to the Christian life and work in COMBATIVE terms. When all things are considered, we can confidently say that the Spirit of God compels the Christian to engage in WARFARE.
Jesus Christ the Lord, our battle Commander, our Captain, leads us not into temptation but into battle. He stands with us amidst life’s battles; stands with us on the front lines as we engage the enemy.
It is silly for God’s professed people to talk about spiritual combat and never put on the WHOLE armour of God. To put on God’s armour does not mean just one or two pieces, but ALL of it-TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, FAITH, and of course, SALVATION and our sharp two-edged sword, THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the Word of God. All our armour is listed in Ephesians 6:13-17. In addition, we as soldiers are obligated to pray, prophesy, and preach! (vv.18- 22).
Our battlefield is the world. Revelation 11:15 tells us that “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ.” This is our future-your future, my future-if we remain faithful till the end. Not only this, but the workings and warring of “His mighty power” shall in the LORD’S own time “subdue ALL things unto Himself” (Ephesians 1:18-23 and Philippians 3:21).
You see, from the days of old till the day of consummation, the outcome of this warfare of His soldier saints was determined by YAHWEH, the LORD Himself. Now in every generation, it remains for His people to execute His will and His power in the face of satan and his demons. The result will be a COMPLETE overthrow. Righteousness, Truth, Justice, Holiness, and so on, shall PREVAIL in ALL of His domain.
Revelation 3:21 tells us, “To him that OVERCOMETH will ! (Jesus Christ) grant to sit with Me in My throne.” To the VICTOR belongs glory and honor. The long war stems from the garden of Adam and Eve to the eternal Garden of God. After centuries of warfare, we will lay down our weapons and exchange our Battle Dress Uniforms (BDU) for white, clean robes of righteousness (Revelation 7:14). Our battered helmet of salvation will be replaced by a glorious crown, an “incorruptible” crown (I Corinthians 9:25)—“a crown of righteousness”—at that day (2 Timothy 4:8).
All of this is the Divine purpose that was determined aforetime by God Almighty, and who shall annul it? Who can stop it? No government, no power, no plan!
For the record, our warfare is not carnal. We fight not as mere men, but as spiritual warriors (read II Corinthians 10:3-6). Jesus stated in John 18:36, “My Kingdom is not of this world: if My Kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight.” Neither this world, nor its spoil, nor its riches are our inheritance, though many false teachers say the opposite. We Christians are not like the world. We fight for different reasons; for different rewards. Although we fight, strive, struggle, and agonize here on earth, we do it for eternal reasons and not carnal ones.
In this confidence, we wage the war, and in this blessed assurance we find our much needed courage thru the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Fear not! What our Captain has begun, He SHALL also TRIUMPHANTLY and GLORIOUSLY finish-in us and in the world. Encourage one another in this certainty. The Battle Cry has sounded, and the battle ground has been chosen. We are commanded, yea, commissioned to DESTROY the spiritual bastions of evil-within ourselves and in the world.
There is a time for defense, but now is the time for offense. Christ Jesus our Lord is the one who commands us, and He will also cover us and lead us into everlasting VICTORY!!
WOS – Run into Me and be Kept!
I speak unto you this day and I say, “Run into Me and be Kept” when the storms of life are raging, and the waves are tumultuous as the Sea of Iniquity is wanting to drown multitudes in the filthy waters of sin. You are not meant to be overwhelmed and overtaken by the pressures of every day existence in this darkened world. Rather you are meant to look to Me as the One you Love and Trust no matter what comes or goes.
Reality is the storms of life hit everyone at one time or many times in their lives. It is not intended for those who are Mine to be overwhelmed and destroyed by such, rather it is My intention for those who are Mine to be kept. Therefore realize how important it is for you to keep looking constantly to Me as the One you must cleave to as I have given to you My Holy Spirit to direct you each day in the Way of Jesus, My Gift to humanity.
When I sent My Son to earth He came in absolute humility being born as it were of Mary and having a stepfather named Joseph. As a baby, He was subject as are all babies on others to help Him and give what He needed to survive. Stop and consider how lowly that was inasmuch as He was before coming to earth, living with Me and participating in the Vast Greatness of My Kingdom.
With this in thought, do not think any thing I ask of you is too humbling because if you are to be a True Disciple, walking in the steps of Jesus, remember, He was willing to be brought to earth in the form of a baby. I do not want any of those who are claiming they want My Kingdom to esteem themselves greater than they are. If they are truly humble before Me, they will not be under the pride which some people will never leave their whole lives even if such pride costs them their very souls.
Be willing to run into Me and seek the counsel you have need of to direct you, correct you, and keep you in the Way wherein you will be kept. Each day ask for the Mind of My Holy Spirit to be over you so that you can come forth knowing Me as your Father.
Consider how important it is to be in the Safety and Sanity which I provide rather than the danger and insanity of the world and the evil contained therein. It is vital for My True Ones to keep themselves in Faithfulness and not give into fearfulness for many have lost out by accepting the fears the devil and his demons have cast their way. Be Fearless and counter attack the devil and his demons commanding them to be gone in the Name of Jesus. The devil and his demons know the power found in the Name of Jesus and they tremble. Therefore do not be a sponge and suck in demons of fear, doubt, and unbelief. Rather rebuke, refute, and refuse to be involved in entanglements they want to lure you into.
Remember you have the Power in the Name of Jesus to win, use the Power and do not complain and live in mental and spiritual darkness. Instead take the active and aggressive action you need when My Spirit commands you to drive out demons. When My people can run into Me and be replenished, revived, and restored, there is no reason for them to be accepting the lies of the wicked.
This day know that My Spirit will guide you in every battle and you can indeed run into Me as your High Tower of Strength and Safety when you need to. I am ever available for My people and as they are staying under the Mind of My Spirit, they will not be involved in the darkness which is ever wanting to cause them to stumble and fall. Be thankful this day for all of the tender and continuing mercies I will give you as you are keeping ever focused on Me and the purposes I have for you.
Do not be ashamed to be needy of Me, remember Jesus sought Me in everything He did. He was literally filled with My Spirit and He only worked where I directed Him through the Spirit. He remained Humble before Me and always was doing the work I sent Him to do. He did not crawl into a cave of self pity, nor did He believe Himself to be a power separate from Me. He did not choose pride even though people wanted to praise Him, He told them to give the Glory to Me.
There are many traps laid up for you and others in this earthly pilgrimage, but you do not need to remain in the captivity of man because I am far above men and their laws and their chains. I can bring them down and their own laws can be used against them and their chains can be snapped as easily as a thread.
Whatever you are going through, do not forget Me for I am the Almighty God and I am the Creator of Heaven and Earth. There is nothing I cannot do and the more My people stay alert, alive, and actively participating the more they are blessed by Me. I do not want My people to be full of anxiety and by the same to be on the down side of losers. I want My people to be full of Faith and Fearlessly moving under the Mind of My Spirit which is the Way of Truth. Those who are Mine are not meant to be covered in lies and at the mercy of liars, I want My people to be triumphant, victorious and ever glad to know that I am who I say that I am. This day, and every day give yourselves completely to Me trusting that I know what is best for you and I will do whatsoever you ask in Jesus Name as you remain True to Me.
