Christians, are you or do you want to be in the vanguard of the Lord’s Revolutionary Forces? The Battle Cry has sounded throughout the land, especially in and among the ecclesiastical and educational leadership. A change is coming, are you ready? God is on the offensive, going to the household of faith, dealing with those who are in positions of shepherding His lambs and His sheep.
Few in our generation have been loyal enough to the Lord to keep alive the desire for freedom from sin, both on a personal and national level. The crucial battle for men’s minds, wills, and souls is here now. If you have fallen asleep or departed from your godly post of duty, repent and renew your commitment to Him. It is time, past time, for all of God’s leaders/soldiers to show and exhibit undisguised abhorrence for personal and national sins.
The Christian is to wage the war against all evils: social/ political/personal/ ecclesiastical. The Lord Jesus Christ, our Captain in this great war, expects our every act to be holy. To withdraw from the field of battle is to encourage the growth of evil in this world. If we of His Royal Regiment, His Holy Tribal Nation, side or compromise with the evils of our day, we dishonour His name. His name is Holy, and holiness or moral purity is one of the most essential principles of the gospel. Holiness is the presence of all spiritual graces, it is required of each of us in order to be secure in our heavenly citizenship in His Holy Kingdom. Even earthly kingdoms require complete and undivided loyalty as a basis for full citizenship. We cannot expect to fight and win any battle for the Lord while we’re not truly committed to His requirements.
We live in an age and generation when God is requiring absolute and total commitment. We cannot side with national laws that are morally corrupt, for laws which do not harmonize with the Laws of God are violations of the righteousness of God. No longer can we of the Lord’s camp play both sides. We must choose His way all the way! Wicked laws not only may be broken, but absolutely must be broken. When the fundamental laws of any land are manipulated and changed by wicked men to conspire against divine law, then those laws cease to be a constraining force for good, and in- stead become a wanton outrage on society. Think about this.
The commission and mission of every blood-bought, Spirit-filled Christian is to work towards establishing the Kingdom of God. First, in our personal life; second, in this earth by the banishment of all unrighteousness and the introduction of universal holiness. The call is loud and clear, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations \ (disciple them)…: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you (the gospel).” Matt. 28:18,19. Jesus never told us to just build churches and create dead religious systems. He has commanded us to fight the good fight of faith -to take Him into all approval of men. No, He told us to proclaim freedom to the slaves of sin, setting men free from within.
We of the Lord’s camp cannot and must not tolerate a religion without holiness and absolutes. Sanctioning and perpetuating vices and laws which His gospel is designed to remove is sheer foolishness. If the gospel condoned sin in any form, then it would be made to serve the purpose of chains and manacles. But the gospel is and always will be a system of holiness, it must not and cannot be allied to evil and evil men. The great work of conversion/discipling is and must be an indiscriminate war against all sin -sin of every kind and degree!
Christians, when we allow the true doctrine of the gospel to be perverted and the standard of personal holiness lowered, we give place to the devil. This soft and slippery Christianity which disturbs no one must be put out of it’s misery! Until we of His Holy Camp become more deeply imbued with HATRED of the “church slave system” we will never see the kind of revolution that the Spirit wants to send. The Spirit of God is waiting for us to demand the release of the prisoners and fugitives from the death grip of religious bond- age. Our mission is two fold: 1) To free those trapped in religious prison houses; 2) To free those that are trapped in the prison house of the world.
Did the giving of Jesus’s life, delivering us from the slave chains of Satan, imply that Satan and his demons should still have dominion over us? Does Romans 8:37 mean that we are still subject to sin? Are we to believe that Hebrews 2:14 and I John 3:8 are beyond the present power of the Lord, that Jesus finds Himself unable to accomplish the thing He was manifested to do? NO! It is our lack of faith and the presence of fear that stop the hand of our God. Do we now see the need for Revolution? The Bible plainly states over and over that Jesus came to save man NOW, in this generation, in this life, from the power and dominion of sin! His goal is to make us more than conquerors. Our deliverance from sin cannot remain just partial but must be secured in full! Anything less is a mockery of the sacrifice Jesus made for our freedom.
The object of our faith in Christ Jesus is to miss Hell and gain Heaven. The Apostle Paul instructs Titus, his own son after the common faith, “that, denying ungodliness, and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.” He goes on to explain that the reason for this command is that Christ, “…gave Himself for us that He might redeem (rescue) us from all iniquity, and purify us unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” (Titus 2:12)
Can we, who are of the Lord’s camp, suppose that the Holy God, who hates sin in the sinner, is willing to tolerate it in the Christian? God forbid! Do we see a need for revolution? When was the last time you took a good look at the sorry state of that which calls itself, “Christian”? Have we forgotten that God destroyed Sodom for it’s sexual perversions, sodomy more specifically? Now, in too many main-stream denominations, they’re ordaining practicing sodomites (male/female) for church leadership. They are celebrating same sex (sodomite) marriages and even contemplating the acceptance of pedophiles (child molesters), claiming the twisted and sick belief that God created them that way and they can’t help themselves.
Do we see sin, lots of sin in the Lord’s camp (those who claim they are His)? What was the purpose of His death if not to free men from the stain and strain of sin? For what reason are salvation / regeneration / sanctification if sin is readmitted or allowed to continue into our new lives? Have we become so blind that we dare to think God will accept us when we uphold, protect and even cherish sin? Shall we so rebelliously attempt the incompatible alliance of two opposing forces, so adverse as that of a righteous God and a continuing sinner? Shall we try to make a marriage between holiness and sin? Shall we invite the curse back after His blood has broken it’s power? Do we need a revolution? Get ready, take aim, fire away!!! Blast away at sin! The revolution is underway, get in or get out of our way!
