America (the name it is called for the time being) has gone through many hard times in her history. “Powers that be” are angry, ANGRY as HELL! God-haters are RAGING like HELL … driven by fear that they may lose some of their ill-gotten power, which they accomplished by fraud/lies/malfeasance.
Why – Why – Why – Why?
Psalm 2:1 asked, “WHY do the nations RAGE, and the people plot a vain thing?” Putting this in today’s context, here in the U.S. where God’s blessings have flowed freely, WHY do liberal people want to stop this flow?
In the day in which the Psalms were written, there was one nation among many that God chose to represent Him: Israel. We read of the LORD’s “anointed” (2:2), the earthly king of Israel, representative of the LORD GOD (vv. 7-9; which I believe has a double meaning, that is: 1) the earthly king and 2) the King of the whole earth, the Son of God). This Psalm has a Messianic meaning for the universal Church: the New Testament understands that it’s speaking of Christ (Acts 4:25-27; 13:33; Hebrews 1:5).
Anointed: “Kings on earth rise up and princes plot together against the LORD and against His ANOINTED One” (v. 2). We know pagan nations of the O.T. were enemies of the nation of Israel; thus, the first meaning of the text. The second meaning, of course, is the larger picture: satan’s people against God’s people; Jesus, the “Anointed One,” being the Father’s representative in and on earth. He came as a human representative first; now He rules via Spirit.
Anointed: Hebrew, mashiah; Greek Cristos. Christ in the New Testament was and is the “anointed Messiah. In Israel, Old Testament kings and high priests received the “power” and authority of their office through “anointing” (e.g., see Judges 9:8; 1 Samuel 9:16; 16:12-13; et al.).
Rage
The Hebrew word for “rage” is ragash (a prime root), “to be tumultuous”; as opposed to reggae‘, “restful, i.e., peaceful.” Rehash (Chaldee) corresponds to ragash, “to gather tumultuously”; and rigshah = “a tumultuous crowd, company, insurrection.”
Liberal people, those who hate God’s standards, always call Christians and morality-loving people “insurrectionists,” yet the real insurrectionists are those who live to accuse, condemn, find guilty and imprison those who stand up against and protest fraud and immorality.
TALK ABOUT RAGE! WITH VICIOUS VEHEMENCE! Lie after lie is told, and accusations are hurled against those who stand up for honesty, integrity, and especially the TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST!
There are Greek words for “rage” that should be studied along with the Hebrew words above (with the main Hebrew word above probably being ragash – Psalm 2:1).

Greek, “rage,” with Strong’s Concordance #’s:
5433 Acts 4:25 = phruasso, “to make a tumult,” from brucho (a primitive verb), “to grate the teeth (in rage), gnash.”
This usage “to make a tumult; to gnash with the teeth,” is found in the hostile encounter between the religious/self-righteous Jewish leaders and Jesus’ disciples Peter and John. They were commanded not to speak in the Name of Jesus (Acts 4:18). Putting this into the secular setting of today, the liberals demand/command people NOT to speak in the name of TRUTH or MORALITY!
The hostile encounter with the Jews caused Peter and John to quote David’s Psalm 2:1-2 in Acts 4:25-26. They used the words, “For truly against Your Holy Servant Jesus, whom You (Father) ANOINTED…” (v. 27). Well, folks, we know what the “RAGERS” did to Jesus, to most of His disciples, and this very same hostile/demonic spirit is in the camp of those who hate truth today. Truth-haters are all up in arms, hostile, ready to fight (figuratively, or maybe literally?).
Here is what we’re looking at: antichrist truth-haters will fight tooth, claw, and toenail to keep their power, their positions they have. They would rather see this world destroyed than to capitulate to their enemies.
The same spirit of HATE and MURDERthat possessed the religionists in Jesus’ day, possesses the truth-haters today. These people are out for blood (figuratively, or literally?).
This RAGING reminds me of Jude’s description of those “brute beasts” (v. 10) who were compared to “raging waves of the sea,” verse 13, “foaming up their own shame.” This is the present world-scene around us all.
God has applied many blessings in worldly countries that have followed fundamental Christian ethics rather than cold-blooded ideologies of hate mongers who murder babies (“womb homicide”) and promote SIN and everything unethical, unholy, unlawful.
We are at a turning point in this world: we either defend God or lose out with God. We either serve God or serve a god or a goddess, and die in our sins. We need good leaders, not scumbags like the type who hate truth and reject morality. America (even the whole world) needs to reinvent itself, get back to Biblical principles; more than than, we need to REPENT and get RIGHT WITH JESUS CHRIST.
The English Dictionary defines “rage” as “violent and uncontrolled anger; to be furiously angry, be out of control.”
There is another side to all this. It is “vogue” and “in fashion” in today’s political/social scene to be a jerk, a butt, to be an antagonist, a pervert, a God-hater, to be a trans, one who is virginibus puerisque: “for girls and boys.” Yep!
It is fashionable to act like a fool, a Politically Correct scumbag; to be filthy-mouthed. All such people are found in the antichrist camp. The leftists make icons out of perverted persons in order for them to receive popular acceptance or favor.
Yes, the trend today is to act like (or be) crazed, to be ranting and raging, content on dishing out scorn. Many people love yelling vituperations at others “not of their ilk.” They have become vituperatively critical, spewing out lengthy harsh criticisms and “abuses in vulgar, vivid, living color expletives.” Masses live to lie, love to lie, love disinformation and misinformation. They love to see our K-12 students groomed in sex-ed, xxx-rated, while also being well-pleased that these same K-12 students are functionally illiterate about Godly principles, the Bible itself, even about basic good and clean conduct. The truth is, denying God and His Word has brought America – the WORLD! – to the precipice of no return.
The cultural wars have nearly destroyed this nation. RACE WARS and RAGE are weapons of choice flaunted by liberals. Our schools have become training grounds for race-war and socially “tolerant” ideologies like “It’s okay to be a girl if you are a biological boy” (and the other way around). “Don’t judge us, just accept us!” REALLY? How about you do the same towards us Christians? OH, NO! NEVER!
“Perversion tolerance” is a learned behavior. One has to deny God as Creator (of males and females as distinct creations), deny His prohibitions against certain human activities and thoughts, and be brainwashed in the school of DUMB! America is further fraught with “Do as I say, not as I do!” stuff. The hypocrisy is too deep to wade into in this article.
There are Biblical truths that help make our communities strong, but antichrists want all to get on and stay on the highway to HELL! They desire to have a Communist flag fly over us all (especially in America, over the White House, aka, Pink House, which = House of Ill-Repute). Antichrists hate “In God We Trust” or anything even remotely Biblically based.
One can feel powerless and hopeless in the wake of their hatred for what is right. HATRED for TRUTH is a worldwide crisis. But Christ is our HOPE, and we have power over LIES, and we are not saved by politics either, for politics are merely a way for men and women to rule a worldly nation. True, we don’t need any nation, including America, to be an iconoclast. Yet again,
our only HOPE is in Christ.
We need Christ as the One we look to, the One we honor. If we honor Him, God will bless us, and the nations in which we live. If we do not get back to putting Christ first, even the nations in which we live will become and continue to be dirty, stinking ghettos where human life is not worth a shovel of SH*T!
