America is a hostile nation! Every time you flick on the T.V. (ours runs 24/7 in POD 1B) there is news of another mass murder of some kind. Domestic killing, domestic terrorism are now so common, we expect to see/hear of them daily. Bloodshed is the vogue of our times. Hell, on the other hand, is enlarging itself. Isaiah spoke about this centuries ago: “Therefore Sheol (hell) has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure,” -Isa. 5:14 “Sheol” was referring to “hell”/ “hades,” i.e. the world of the dead: both physically (as grave for the body) and spiritually (grave for the eternal soul); It is also referred to as the “pit.” Not a nice place to go anyway we interpret it!!
Will the day arrive when America will be renamed “United Sheol of America?”
While the Bible distinguishes between “killing” and “murder” (the nations do the same), murder is the one associated with hate/hostility/malice/malevolence etc. “Killing,” as in war sanctioned by governments, is never a crime (unless there is reason to believe otherwise).
How may we, as a nation that prides itself as a “Christian nation” account for all this gun-related murder/killing? – from homicide to genocide, patricide (murder of one’s father), parricide (murder of parents), matricide (murder of mother), infanticide (murder of baby), fratricide (murder of bro./sis.), sororicide, uxoricide, mariticide, deicide, regicide, or regicides, tyrannicide, vaticide, lupicide, vulpicide etc., etc.
Any way you categorize it, America has a “bloody” problem – and it’s getting worse. Why? Simple: we’ve forsaken His laws and statutes. As the jails/prisons are overflowing as I write, Hell has enlarged itself for the souls that are without Christ.
Eternal DEATH is as real as Eternal LIFE. Eternal Death will be without END!; Eternal Life will also be without END but indescribably beautiful; unlike Hell, indescribably dreadful, hostile, full of everything ugly; no freedom, no release!
All of this violence we see/hear is the evil flowing forth from evil hearts.
While courtrooms are chock-full, God’s courtroom is also full – convicted souls being sent into everlasting HELL. Is it worth it? But this is not a U.S.A. problem, it is universal, when this nation prefers Political Correctness to be supreme, rather than Biblical correctness, HELL will be our reward.
