There are not only social and physical plagues (e.g., diseases, crime, homelessness, confusion, violent storms of all kinds, brutality, betrayal, etc.), there are mental plagues of loneliness, rejection and dejection, which too often lead to suicide. Political plagues are also taking their toll on Americans.
Failure is also a plague that stalks the land, as well as fear. There is an awful smell to both failure and fear. It is an odor, a stench that clings like a miasma; in reference to the political, there’s a stench from Washington, DC (lit., District of Corruption”). This SWAMP causes diseases, sicknesses. In reference to the social environment of the SWAMP, it is a harmful influence/atmosphere, a miasmal/miasmic/mercurial stench, unpredictably changeable, depending on who is in charge of what at any particular time or season. A mess!
Just as dogs can detect “fear” odor, demons can do the same. They can detect if someone is fearful, or faithful. On a national scale, we should be able to detect – the Biblical Word is “discern” – when a nation is on its way DOWN. Jesus calls it “signs of the times” (Matthew 16:3).
In response to the demand for a “sign” by the Jewish “religious,” Jesus used the weather as the indication of the coming Kingdom. The “religious” could discern the weather by the red sky in the morning/evening to what kind of day it would be – but they were rebuked by Jesus: “You know how to judge the appearance of the sky, but you cannot judge (discern) the signs of the times” (Matthew 16:1-3).
This inability to discern, my dear readers, is the condition we’re living in. This nation (with exceptions) can’t discern the “signs of the time,” i.e., God’s time to judge America for its sinfulness.
Plagues – mental/social/political/physical/emotional/religious – are here and many are queer! All these calamities are SIGNS of God’s disfavor, not His favor. Jesus pointed out to the “religious” that His good deeds/miracles/preachings/teachings were signs that the Kingdom had arrived, yet they were so enraged/biased against Jesus that they could not see that what their prophets of old (even John) told them was coming … HAD ARRIVED. Their long awaited “Messiah” was there in their midst. Jesus told them that judgment was coming (see Matthew 24), but instead of taking heed to His warnings, they MURDERED Him! So it is even today: to proclaim His judgments, even as they fall all about, will generate hatred for us, persecution, prosecution, jail/prison, fines, EVEN DEATH!
Those of us who are close to God can smell failure, defeat, destruction. Therefore we’re not afraid to say what the Spirit is saying.
Not only is there an odor/stench from the DC SWAMP, but from the liberal Church! This whole nation STINKS of REBELLION, madness, insanity! There is, for my wife and I, an immeasurable sense of relief, for we have been warning this nation for over 4 ½ decades that God’s wrath, fury, indignation were forthcoming if America did not repent and change its way. Of course, it has not repented as a whole; hence, wrath, fury, indignation are the consequence.
We still warn, but we now see, feel and hear what the Spirit has been telling us would come. We have been severely persecuted/prosecuted for our stand. We have enraged both the political and religious demons to WRATH. Wagging tongues like scythes cut deep against us. We’ve been accused of domestic terrorism, treason, theft, kidnapping, murder, blah, blah, blah, ad infinitum, ad nauseam!
In a nation where fake news, mis/disinformation, character assassination is the daily “currency of conversation,” you take your life into your own hands if you dare to speak out against the “powers that be.” Few are those who will fearlessly speak out. Get ready for the enemies to brandish their power against you! Those of us who stand for truth will have our faces and names posted on signs that read, “Wanted: DEAD or ALIVE!” The haters of truth will put up impenetrable barricades around themselves, so the truth will not prevail against them.
The stupid innocent are targeted by Big Bro’s deprograming that tries to convince us that America needs to drop this old, outdated God-centered thinking and replace it all with a new perspective for a New Amerika, a nation without God, without morals, without absolute TRUTH. “Relax and flow with the New Left!” (Can you hear the Left’s enthusiastic burst of applause?)
Accept the fact: the Left’s Marxist/Liberal/Progressive/Politically Correct agenda is UNrelenting in its internecine war against any and all who do not and will not be joining their SWAMP party. They are snakes, flakes, and fakes who live in their own IMMORAL feces and urine. Their idea of success is to convert souls – to imprison them in their SWAMP HELL, brainwashing them so they blindly obey every lie, turning them into the “walking dead,” moral vegetables, making them into nothings, aka, “No Things” with no conscience or life left in them towards God.
Dissolving boundaries is at the heart of “queer theory” and “Marxism.” These ideologies claim that adult-child sex should be normalized (see my articles on Communism), and they are pushing hard against Biblical condemnation of LGBTQ+. THESE SICKOS NEED TO BE IMPRISONED!

Discern – Judge – Act
The days of darkness are here, folks. We can’t pretend any longer it is not so. It is so! Dylan Thomas (poet) wrote, “Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the DYING of the LIGHT!” This is the hour of SPIRITUAL RAGE. Will the Left be the only ones RAGING, or will we RAGE against their RAGE and the DYING of the LIGHT?
Have we forgotten that John said, “In Him (Jesus) was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men. And the LIGHT shines in the darkness…” (John 1:4-5). The book of 1 John echoes the above passages: “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is LIGHT and in Him is no DARKNESS at all” (1 John 1:5). Paul writes, “For you were once DARKNESS, but now you are LIGHT in the Lord, walk as children of LIGHT.”
When we live and walk in fear, defeat, anxiety, we walk in DARKNESS. Will you rebel against HELL, and RAGE against the dying of the LIGHT? We are commanded to “Let your LIGHT so shine before men, that they may see your good works (and war!) and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). The Left and others are not ashamed to let their DARKNESS RAGE against the LIGHT. They are proud of being dirtbags, demon-infested antiChrists. Their insolence, i.e., hubris (hybris, Greek for “insolence”) “knows no bounds of downwardness.” Their LGBTQ+ political excessive pride leads to their downfall.

The political 3-Ring circus called “government” (U.S., aka “United Snakes,” and applicable to the world’s governments in general) has its pimps and prostitutes … “for sale.” Should we not have our sign out, “NOT for sale!”? How many good Christians have been bought off by mammon?
Life in America has become extremely cheap. With murders/killings (including horrifying abortion, aka, “WOMB HOMICIDE”) at an all time high, the taking of life has become a way of life these days. We’re in a national destructive “cruise control” mode … cruising along, singing our national song, “To Hell with America!” … heading for the cliff. Our “cultural context” is an embodiment of hatred for what is right and a love for what is wrong. We’ve become crazy. Mindless. We can’t even describe what a woman is. A man is a male one day, a female the next, a “no thing” the next after the next. We’re mentally LOST.
Be on guard for ironies: “discrepancies between what is said and what is intended; saying the opposite of what is actually meant; also, discrepancies between what should be and what actually occurs: a result or situation that turns out very differently from what was anticipated or hoped for.” There is enough irony in today’s political “outhouse” that it’s overflowing. It is ironic we have so much irony to deal with! When your fake leaders give their pathetic speeches and addresses, the words they use do not carry the same meaning as they do for the people. They are just a “feeling,” a “tone,” a “mood,” an “attitude”… The way things are phrased and expressed can and will affect the meaning of the words. The tone of voice changes what is being conveyed. For example, the “tough guy” can act all tough, when really he is a weak, pathetic imposter, who can’t inspire his audience to act. Others have the will to actually act, and their toughness is no act.
Many leaders LIE to your face and make you believe what they say is true. Take the simile, “All the world is like a stage.” Now take the metaphor, “All the world IS a stage,” a figure of speech. These ideas are acceptable in writing and speaking, but in real life, LYING should never be permissible, for lying is a SIN, and the Bible and even non-religious materials condemn it. Yet many leaders have perfected lying.
Why do leaders continue to lie so much? Ask them. Colossians 3:9 simply says, “Do not LIE to one another…” Proverbs 6:17 lists “lying” as one of the 7 things God HATES: “…a lying tongue.” The author of Psalm 120:2 wrote, “Deliver my soul, O LORD, from LYING lips and from a deceitful tongue.” Do you suppose today’s leaders ever read this? Some worldly leaders claim to be “Christian” or at least Roman Catholic, so surely they have read Psalm 119:163, which says, “I hate and abhor LYING…”
Yes, folks, we live in one HELL of a time: comedy and tragedy. Life in America has become a mystery play, a humanistic morality play (man’s morality, not God’s), a tragic comedy, a hot romance, a burlesque, a heroic-trauma drama, a ridiculous theatrical act, another movie/TV bizarre show, a tragedy of passion, tragedy of character, a satiric comedy (laugh your way to DEATH). This world went so far, even years ago, as to indulge in “snuff films” for entertainment along with its unrelenting pornographic addiction. Is it any wonder that the nation is STRESSED OUT in THE VEXATION OF SIN!!?? Duh! Lie with her, lie on her, lie to her! … THE STORY OF LIFE NOWADAYS, WITHOUT CHRIST.
