“THE modern church of Jesus Christ has gone “sissy”!
Worse yet, it is going “GAY.” Let me remind you professing Christians that Jesus initiated the New Covenant, New Testament people as an aggressive, militant corps of soldiers. Jesus is aggressive and militant against every sin in all forms. He is a man of compassion and patience, yet He NEVER condones sin.
The sick churchgoers use many militant slogans but fail to apply them. If professing Christians were practicing spiritual militancy, they would drive back all the filth that’s spawning within their congregations. However, this is the hour of “tolerance, political correctness, openness, religious cooperation, diplomacy, negotiation, and endless dialogue.” An age of babbling fools! Protestants and Roman Catholics are playing “patty cakes” together. Liberal American Muslims and Jews claim to serve the same god. Practicing homosexuals are calling themselves “Christians” and demand we respect them as such. Without doubt, Christ Jesus is weeping at the sinful condition of His professing people.
To be aggressive and militant is to be totally out of step in this degraded generation. Now we have church “thought police” who insist we hold our peace, subdue our convictions, zip the lip, sit down and DIE with the rest of them. NEVER! They expect, yes, and even demand that we tolerate “diversity and pluralism.”
Is “Aggressive and Militant Christianity” unBiblical? You would think with all the militant sodomites, newagers, feminists, and Occultists, that the church would see the need to arise to the occasion. Biblical militancy means to engage in warfare-aggressively active spiritual combat. I don’t need to quote scriptures to you. Just read the whole New Testament and you’ll learn the principles of spiritual warfare.
Unfortunately, the church is warring against God Himself! If you are truly born of the Spirit and love the Lord, your defensive and offensive strategies will spring from your Biblical/spiritual values.
You will express and exhibit Godliness in your attitudes and dispositions. We must be abandoned unto God, not at variance to His will. The Bible tells us to love NOT the world, yet the modern church not only loves the world but is married to the world. Look at the strange BASTARD children calling themselves “Christians.” They’re filled with demons!
The world has its militancy and military defensive/offensive strategies. The Ekklesia (Community) of God has the same in the spiritual realm. The world at present is pushed to its limit trying to curtail and stop militant Islam. Peacemaking and peacekeeping forces are deployed all over the world, and somehow they imagine that peace can be wrought through bloody carnage. I will not take the time here to write about the way the world fights, for then I would need to address the issues that accompany different kinds of war (holy war, just war) and the motive and means behind each. One thing remains: War will always plague this world. Jesus was the first to declare that.
Aggressiveness/Militancy does not signify mean-spiritedness. The opponents of valiant, aggressive Christianity are propelled by demon forces. These opponents accuse us of being like Hitler, or worse. They’re ignorant. Spiritual warfare is inseparable from the New Testament teachings. Again, our opponents accuse of having a “power complex” since we speak about raising up an Army and fighting against the enemies of Christ. They want to make great issues out of our being aggressive and not passive. Jesus was both in the right way. We are aware of the balance. Warfare does not imply a lack of control, an absence of ethics, or a negation of common sense. I guess our opponents want us to join their camp of lazy, hazy, and crazy compromisers. Their camp neither resists sin nor wages the war for souls trapped in it. Friends, you ABUSE GOD when you (1) don’t fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12, II Tim 4:7, | Cor 9:26) and (2) love the world that Christ died to set men free from (1 John 2:15-17); ·
The modern day sissy-lah-lahs that passively let sin take its course in their own lives and in the lives of those around them are GUILTY OF A GROSS “LACK-OF-MILITANCY.” We are told in Jude 3 that “ye should earnestly CONTEND (MAKE WAR!) for the faith.”
This modern church has fallen into the slimy pit of political correctness, whereby the politics of the world rule the politics of the church. Christians, make war against such tolerance of sin! The PC’ers want us to tolerate any and all sins, even sodomy. They demand both church and state to address sodomites as “brothers and sisters” and order church leaders to not exclude sodomites based upon sexual orientation. A practicing sodomite cannot be a Christian. Period!
If you love the Lord you will have a holy hatred for sin. You will likewise care deeply for the HELLBOUND sinners. The love that resides within us Christians-the love given by the Holy Spirit-bears the fruit of an attitude that is aggressively unwilling to tolerate divergence from the fundamental Biblical truths. That love seeks to defend the truths of God.
Should we Christians be aggressively militant? Is there any other way to follow Jesus? To be a genuine, born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, YOU MUST BE AGGRESSIVE AND MILITANT!! As one writer states, “When Curtis Lee Laws coined the term ‘Fundamentalist,’ he applied it to those who not only believed in the fundamental doctrines of the faith but who also were willing to do ‘battle royal’ for those fundamentals.” He goes on to state that “George Marsden defines a Fundamentalist by stating ‘A Fundamentalist is an Evangelical who is angry about something….A more precise statement of the same point is that an American Fundamentalist is an Evangelical who is MILITANT in opposition to liberal theology in the churches or to changes in culture values or mores such as those associated with secular humanism.””
Aggressive, militant Fundamentalists are a subtype of true Evangelicals. Militancy is crucial to their outlook and outreach. By the term “Evangelical” I mean those who are putting the Word of God into action, not merely “believing” in a cheap way-a way without action. By Fundamentalists I mean those who are not the passive “liberal left” who wink at sin and cover it up with niceness. Real Fundamentalists are VALIANT FOR TRUTH just like Jesus. Jesus is militant for truth, because He is the truth.
One question that appeared in the 1956 issue of Christian Life Magazine stated, “Is Evangelical Theology changing?” The author prefaced his “Yes” answers by saying that in “earlier days the fundamentalist watchword was ‘ye must earnestly contend for the faith,’ but today’s evangelical watchword is ‘ye must be born again.”” Here the difference is a warped emphasis and attitude that separates the ongoing warfare from the born-again experience. Missing from evangelicalism today is aggressive militancy. We can’t help but notice that the early apostles and church fathers were fearlessly aggressive and militant.
The compromise-pile of humanistic garbage calling itself “Christian” is repulsive! Laid-back, backslid “believers” are parade- field soldiers clothed in the devil’s uniform, wherefore they DO NOT bear the scars of militancy that come from real battle in the Spirit. Churchgoers live in a make-believe world. They may use the name “Christian Fundamentalists” but in reality they are just cheap-hearted traitors.
Friends, the command to “contend for the faith” (Jude 3) is not a debatable option, Warfare is a divine ORDER! Did you hear me, professing Christians? A DIVINE ORDER! Repent right now and return to the ranks of God’s Royal Regiment. Amen.
