1. ADMIT: Admit to Jesus that you are a sinner, and that you need to be saved!
2. BELIEVE: Believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Believe that He CAN and WILL save you! Believe that He will make you “BORN AGAIN” and “MADE ALIVE” by the power of His Spirit.
3. CONFESS: Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the ONLY Savior, the One who died for you, the One who SHED HIS BLOOD FOR YOU!
4. REPENT: TAKE ACTION and TURN FROM YOUR SINS! (Repentance is not only saying words but you must actually do something: TURN AWAY from sin. You were headed one way — towards Hell; now you have TURNED COMPLETELY AROUND and are GOING THE OTHER WAY — towards Heaven!)
5. RECEIVE: Accept what Jesus has done for you. Trust God in your heart and mind. Let your actions SHOW that you trust Him by FOLLOWING HIM EVERY DAY, READING AND HEARING HIS WORD EVERY DAY, AND OBEYING WHAT GOD SHOWS YOU.
Pray something like this:
Jesus, please help me! I am a sinner and I cannot save myself! I believe that You died on the Cross for me, for MY sins. I believe You can make me born again. I’m so sorry for all my sins! Please forgive me. I beg You to wash me in the Blood that You shed for me. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to obey You. I commit myself to REPENT, to turn away, from all sins that I know of in my life. I commit myself to follow You. I also beg You to Baptize me in Your Holy Spirit, with the evidence being that I will speak in new spiritual tongues. I THANK YOU for SAVING ME from sin, the ways of the world, and the power of satan! Thank you, JESUS!!!
*** If you have chosen to REPENT and prayed that prayer sincerely, you are now BORN AGAIN! Thank Jesus! Remember, you will struggle, because it is a DAILY battle against yourself, the devil, and the ways of the world. Be an AGGRESSIVE CHRISTIAN and Jesus will help you as you put all your effort into obedience. Stay in Christ, stay in obedience, and you will stay in the NEW GIFT OF LIFE that Jesus has given you freely. You didn’t earn it, but you must guard and keep it till the end, as the most precious thing that exists! Trust Jesus. If you remain in Him, He will remain in you; if you remain in Him, He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you through everything.
