Meekness and boldness. When we think of the first, meekness, we think of timidity, easily frightened, lacking self-confidence, shy, hesitant.

When we think of boldness we think of showing a readiness to take risks or face danger, daring, fearless, forceful in expression or manner, being brave.

The Bible portrays both meekness and boldness.

Jesus as Example

The Lamb of God:

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!’” (John 1:29,also v.36).

“… in the midst of the throne and of the 4 living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb…” (Revelation 5:6).

The Lion:

“… Do not weep. Behold, the LION of the tribe of Judah… has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its 7 seals,” (Revelation 5:5).

Both the Lamb and the Lion are depicted as conquerors; Revelations 5 has them together. One represents meekness; the other boldness. Both had prevailing power. Both were spirits of avant- garde: the Lamb, advance guard, the leader of the New World Order, eternal salvation by and thru faith and repentance:

The Lion, advance guard in in-conventional spiritual warfare, Captain of the “Army of God”- army that sheds no blood!

2 in 1

The best example of the Lamb/Lion as One is found in Matthew 23, at least I think so. Matthew 23:1-39 contains 8 “WOES” against the scribes and the Pharisees who sit in Moses’ seat. His BOLDNESS is at its best! But also His meekness and love for the people of Jerusalem (v. 37 – He wanted to gather the people together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!!)

Having grown up on Chicken farms (Arkansas/Kentucky), I’ve seen this demonstrated: a storm coming the hen opened up her wings and the chicks would gather under as the hen let her wings down. Even in a fire a mother hen will die to save her chicks. Jesus was telling of the STORM COMING, i.e. the Roman Storm (70 AD.).

Meek

Meekness is NOT weakness! Jesus stated; “Blessed are the meek for the shall inherit the earth,” (Matthew 5:5). David, centuries before Christ, penned, “But the meek shall inherit the earth…” (Psalms 37:11).

Jesus again speaks of meekness: “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle (Greek, “meek”) and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls,” (Matthew 11:29).

Zechariah the Prophet wrote:

“… Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, LOWLY (meek) and riding on a donkey…” (Zechariah 9:9).

Note:

Jeremiah the Prophet wrote: “Behold, the days are coming… that I will raise to David a branch of righteousness; A king (as in Zechariah 9:9) shall reign and prosper (Hebrews, “act wisely”), and execute judgment (Hebrews, “justice”) and righteousness in the earth,” (Jeremiah 23:5).

Judgment and justice are interchangeable. Judgment can be punishment as well as fairness. The “King” (Christ Jesus) is shown as the Lion and Lamb.

Jeremiah wrote about the evil shepherds (over the lambs/sheep) that scattered the flock, thus, God would raise up His Shepherd who would feed them. This “Shepherd” would be Jesus, who would also be the “Lamb of God.” Jesus is called the “Good Shepherd” (John 10:11,12,14,16; Hebrews 13:20; 1 Peter 2:25, 5:4). Being the Great Good Shepherd, Jesus raised up shepherds (pastors/ministers) under his shepherd-hood just as Jeremiah said – Jeremiah 23:4.

Lamb/Meek

The Greek for Matthew 5:5 (speaking of “the meek”: praos/ pran’os, 4235), a form of 4239, used in certain parts; gentle, that is, humble:- meek;

The Greek for Matthew 11:29 (speaking of Jesus) = (4239) = praus/ prah-ooce’. Apparently a primary word; mild, that is (by implication) humble: – meek.

Lion/Bold

The Greek word for “bold/“Bolden” is found in Acts 4:31 and 2 Corinthians 7:4 — the word “boldness” (et al.) We can also look up the words “boldly” and “bold.”

Bold = Acts 13:46; Romans 10:20; 2 Corinthians 10:1; Philemon 1:8.

Boldly = John 7:26; Acts 9:27, 29; 14:3; 18:26; 19:8; Romans 15:15; Ephesians 6:19, 20; Hebrews 4:16; 13:6.

Boldness = Acts 4:13, 29, 31; 2 Corinthians 7:4; Ephesians 3:12; Philemon 1:20; 1 Timothy 3:13; Hebrews 10:19; 1 John 4:17.

Strong’s 3954 = Greek parrēsia/ par-rhay-see’-ah, from 3956 and a derivative of 4483; all out spoken, that is frankness, bluntness, publicity; by implication assurance: – boldly/boldness of speech, confidence.

Boldly in(Hebrews 4:16 — “Let us therefore come BOLDLY (an act!) unto the throne of grace…”

Here it is Strong’s 3326, meta/metah = A primary preposition (often used adverbially); properly, denoting accompaniment; “amid” (local or causal); modified variously according to the case (genitive association, or accusative succession) with which it is joined; occupying an intermediate position between G575 or G1537 and G1519 or G4314; less intimate than G1722 and less close than (G4862):—after(-ward),that he again, against, among, and, follow, hence, hereafter, in, of, (up-)on, our, and setting, since, (un-)to, together, when, with (-out). Often used in composition, in substantially the same relations of participation or proximity, and transfer or sequence.

Wow! That is Greek talk; may be too hard to understand for the average Christian!

Hebrew 10:19 says, “Therefore, brethren, having BOLDNESS to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,” [same Greek Word, 3954] so, boldness can be what we speak or do. Jesus, the Lamb/Lion set the example of meekness and boldness.

We need to, we MUST speak and do all that the Spirit demands/ commands. Evil times and evil men are upon the land. Satan demands/ commands his disciples to say and do evil things. The world is BOLD in its hatred for what is good and profitable. We must be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), as Jesus proclaimed. We also must be bold in speech and in deed… without fear or bondage to any, be they many or mighty. Take it from me and my wife who have been severely persecuted, prosecuted, and imprisoned for doing so, as well as others who have gone to jail. We have spoken openly, boldly, meekly about the things of God and His kingdom. Jesus, it is said, “spoke openly” (Mark 8:32). Jesus said, “For whosoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it,” (Mark 8:35).

We’re to speak truth, not in secret but boldly in open… not giving our judgment or opinion, but speak/preach/teach/write BOLDLY: The sword that CUTS and the fire that BURNS!!!

Paul wrote, “Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech,” (2 Corinthians 3:12). We’re not to cover up what the Spirit wants uncovered. The Church in this generation has become a grand ol’ fire department – putting out revival/revolutionary fires of the Holy Ghost. Preachers/teachers have become “glorified firefighters.”

We’re not to extinguish Holy Ghost fires… let them BURN… the HELL out of us! We’re not to smother truth for the face or fear of any. Churches today are scared out of their pink panties about offending anyone in the LGBTQ plus community; “Fear of the Queer!” Even in prison we continued to speak freely, write freely – the Word of God was not BOUND (2 Timothy 2:9).

It is a sad day indeed in which we live, ministers have gone from being firebrands to ice cubes. They have become fearful to teach/preach against what the devil and his army is preaching. The WOKE movement is full of vileness, hatred for what is good and right. They are not AFRAID to OFFEND the Church. Hell NO! They are BOLD in their speech and deeds.

Amerika, aka America is embracing “Cultural Marxism” and steadily rejecting Biblical Christianity. This is a FACT. The present political regime is on the rag: the religious system (Church-ianity) is in bed with the world.

One has to watch what he or she says and does these days. “Big Bro” is watching… listening. You will be a victim of their Marxist cadre whose banner is “Destroy Them,” whose ranks are filled with Antifa/BLM et al. members, full of serpents venom.

Bold or Cold?

This is the question since the LEFT is Bold in their draconian beliefs/ deeds, pray tell me WHY we, who love and serve the LORD/Lord, can’t match their boldness, yea, surpass it?

The problem is, the people calling themselves Christians have grown cold in their relationship with the Savior. They’ve grown from HOT to COLD. In between this disgusting transition, they’ve creeped along on the inertia road, the broad way (see Matthew 7:13: “… for wide is the gate and BROAD is the WAY that leads to DESTRUCTION,” the lukewarm/pukewarm station in life).

While the LEFT BOLDLY and PROUDLY desires the Right’s/conservatives’/Christians’ DESTRUCTION, the Church (with exception) plays Church-looking, acting, and speaking like the narcissistic fools that proudly fly the “fag flag.”

Shhhhhhh!!!

“Just be quiet and settle down.” Yep, heard this ever since I became a believer (1971). We were called the “On Fire Greens!” This was way back when there was no Antifa/BLM/Hard Left/Political draconian regime — yet we protested the encroaching “worldly” spirit that presented itself as harmless and “open-minded. Yep! The Church not only opened its mind (for demonic infiltration), she also opened her legs for demon impregnation… giving birth to so many little (cute) bastards that in time gave birth to “not so cute bastards.” And, sigh, here we are: a reprobate Church and a rogue government… a “has-been” Christian nation! Ad nauseam!

If You Dare…

Things have grown from BAD to WORSE in a short time – a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands – the thieves will rob us BLIND!!!

If you SNOOZE, you LOSE!

If you are bold to protest, it will (I promise) bring troubles your way. It will draw the persecutor’s sword against you… cut out your tongue, better yet, “off with the head!” — but persist!

NOW, my dear readers, there is a time and season for everything under the sun (SON), as the preacher once penned: Ecclesiastes 3. He puts forth many antithesis, verse 8 – “A time to love (meekness), and a time to hate (boldness against what God hates – see my articles on this); A time of war (boldness) and a time of peace (meekness).”

The sad fact is that the church that is suppose to be militant (in spirit- see articles on this) is the “Church Miscarriage.”

Word of Patience

Revelations 3:10 (in the NKJV) has the words “hour of trial”: the Amplified reads: “Because you have GUARDED and KEPT My Word of patient endurance.” V.10 goes on to read, “Have held fast (firm) the lesson of My patience with expectant endurance… I will keep you (safe) from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth!”

A lot said there.

We read of a “Word of patience” which we are to KEEP!!! Those words in the Apostles’ time wave truths leveled against Judaism and heathenism; under the Arain emperors, it was the deity of Christ; in later times the doctrine justification, and others asserted thru the years against the Roman Catholic Church. In our day, we must hold FIRM the Bible’s Truths against political correctness/ wokeness/presidential insanity (which seeps out of the Oval office- the STINK of the swamp!)

We can at the same time remain meek before the Lord and bold to proclaim what the Spirit is saying in this present generation. We cannot afford to be bored! We’re to lift up our voices (and pens), like a trumpet, and tell America her sins, we are to preach and teach with both meekness and boldness.
“The dog ceaseth not to bark so long as the thief is in the yard!”

America’s Church once was sharp, now it’s dull as a butter knife. It has lost the CUTTING EDGE, hence, the nation is crumbling, decaying, because ministers are afraid to open the mouth wide.

While not all “boldness” is of God, as some make great noise to be seen and heard of other men, we do thank God for those true messengers who are appointed and anointed of the Holy Spirit. Volume is not always a sign of “holy boldness.” Oh, no. There are many preachers who make loud noise yet lack the anointing. Many can sing like angels yet live like devils,

Paul wrote:

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding bronze or a clanging cymbal,” (1 Corinthians 13:1).

Although “love” is Paul’s subject (lack of it), noise of “sounding bronze/ clanging cymbal” reveals the noise aspect. While we may raise the voice, stomp the foot, point the finger while delivering a sermon, unless we love God, love the meaning of eternal salvation, love His Word we do not break the yoke of sin (which the Holy Spirit anointing does). While one can thunder, rant and rave, if the anointing is missing, all this religious antic can produce laughter and not tears of godly sorrow. Some preachers are known for their “religious circus acts.” This is not to say that lifting up the voice like a trumpet is useless. (see Isaiah 58:1 – “Cry ALOUD, SPARE NOT; Lift up you voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression… and sins.”

STOP!

Paul wrote Titus: “… holding fast (firm) the faithful Word… export and convince those who contradict,” (Titus 1:9).

While the fallen/sinful world needs to hear the gospel message, the backslidden Church needs to be corrected, convicted of their contradictions of God’s Word. Example: While both OT/NT condemn LGBTQ plus sins (and heterosexual sins), todays contemporary church endorses them, promotes them, practices them.

Paul goes on to write:

“For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose MOUTHS Must BE STOPPED…” (v. 10).

Note v.16:

“They profess to know the God, but in works they deny Him, being ABOMINABLE, DISOBEDIENT, and DISQUALIFIED for every good work.”

Churchianity is full of such phoney “believers.”

Holy Nuclear Revolution!

This is what today’s Church needs. Revivals come and go; we need an overthrowing of the present ecclesiastical Church system and the establishing of a new, pure, holy clergy who are meek and bold in spirit… wholly under the command-ship of Jesus Christ the Lord, the Holy Spirit (Ghost) and God the Father.

What is desperately needed along side the above is “Holy Fear” of them.

God told Jeremiah in the very beginning of his ministry, “Therefore prepare yourself and arise, and speak to them (the ones whom the prophet was to speak) all that I command you…” (Jeremiah 1:17). COMMAND? Yep! “… Do not be dismayed before their faces…” (v. 17), those whom Jeremiah was to speak God’s BURNING and CUTTING WORDS weren’t gonna like what the Prophet had to tell them: neither will today’s Chuchites!

The LORD had told young Jeremiah the same thing before hand: “Do not be afraid of their faces…” (Jeremaih 1:8). When we speak/teach/preach/ prophesy the Word of God, men and women, even children will make all kinds of grimaces, the twisting of distortion of the face, expressing contempt, disgust.

Evil, bold men/women/children will try their hardest to belittle, ridicule, blaspheme, curse the true ministers of God. [Would you like to hear some horrid, but TRUE!, stories of our years on the front-line of battle?]

The old saying, “He that is a coward in the open field grows valiant and fearless when got within strong walls and bulwarks!”

Either we get BOLD as HELL itself or we hide in fear. Take Your pick. America is growing more and more HOSTILE towards the Holy Truth. This generation is rebellious – DANGEROUS – enraged and HATEFUL.

Jeremiah got afraid, despite the LORD’s admonitions, “Be not afraid.”

In chapter 20 he complains!

“Because the Word of the LORD was made to me a reproach and a derision daily. Then I said, ‘I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.” (v. 8, 9). Been there, done that too!

“But His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not!” Thank God (v. 9).

Fear will keep us from the “good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12).

Jeremiah, after admitting that God’s Word was burning in his heart, said, “But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten,” (v. 11).

I’ve experienced both severe persecution/prosecution/imprisonment as well as seeing my enemies “bite the dust!”

The key is stay meek before the Lord and be bold against the evil spirits that motivate men/women/children to do what they do.

Fearing FEAR will cause us to go AWOL.

“Fear of the Queer” has crippled today’s church. Man/demon pleasing is both senseless and needless. We can’t please God and the devil at the same time. Forget that. They speed best that dare be faithful. It is better to die honorably then live shamefully.

If we be meek and bold in the Lord, the Word we’re commanded to deliver will be a reproach and daily derision to us, as once to Jeremiah. It is better to be reverenced by God than be reverenced by evil men and devils… by compromising the Word of the Lord.

Contemptible

Malachi the prophet had the commission of rebuking the priests for their sinfulness, (Malachi 2:1, 2). God was ANGRY at them enough that He had the prophet to say/write: “Behold, I will rebuke your descendants and spread refuse (feces) on your faces… (v. 3).

What? , Yep!

Christ in His day spared not the most contemptible, the most proud, and religious. Even those who were guilty of sin (adultery) He said, “Sin no more!” He was not daunted with their high looks, their serpent’s tongue, their furious threats. Jesus’ Words and deeds were considered capital crimes by His enemies. Jesus proclaiming and acknowledging His Kingship put Judea on edge:

“Pilate therefore said to Him, ‘Are you a King then?’ Jesus answered, ‘you say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born… that I should (boldly) bear witness to the truth… (John 18:37)

That statement sealed Jesus’ doom!

Paul, later on, after making the “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12), said of Jesus that He “witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilot,” (Timothy 6:13).

How about us? Will we be a true witness before our enemies? Before those questioning our faith?

Valor is rare these days. It is one thing to stand before a nice congregation, in a nice church, dressed nicely and give a nice sermon to those nice members on a nice day. Yet it is another thing to stand before violent and vile men, women, and children, ready to denounce you (me) as a trouble maker, a domestic terrorist and worse.

What we need to see come back into Christ-less Churchianity is, first, Christ, then a heroic resolved spirit! The same spirit that Peter and John had when the religious leaders in Jerusalem “saw the BOLDNESS of Peter, and John and … they marveled. And they realized that they had been WITH JESUS,” (Acts 4:13).

Those very religious priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducces, as well as Annas the high priest (and members of his family) perceived that Peter and John were unlike them – mere religious – but were BOLD, could work miracles.

So, dear ones, being spiritually BOLD will have its negative side. The demons (in human bodies) will take not of us. Do we have a Holy Ghost anointing or do we just have Biblical Knowledge. (Plenty of these around. This is not to say that Biblical education is not needed, but along with this, Holy Ghost Fire!!!)

Q. “What shall we do to these men?”

A. “Let us severely threaten them!” was the answer – for now. We know threats developed to beatings, to death.

Still want to be revolutionary?

Their BOLDNESS did not come by their natural spirit; it came by the Spirit acting upon their spirits.

We all recall what they did when Jesus was taken in the garden and afterwards MURDERED! They hid out! They denied Him (Peter 3 times)!

Fright and flight.

Anointed
It was God the Father whom anointed His Son, Jesus, to stand up against Herod, Pontius Pilate, the Gentiles and the people of Israel (Acts 4:27). The prayer: “Now, Lord look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with ALL BOLDNESS they may speak Your word,” (Acts 4:29).

After that prayer the Bible says, “and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with BOLDNESS,” (v.31). The “they” were Peter’s and John’s companions (v.23). Verse 33 reports that “with GREAT POWER the apostles gave witness…”

Oh, if more preachers/teachers et al would give glory to God rather than to themselves, we would see a “Holy Revolution!” We would see sinners repent… less and less lost souls tumbling into Hell’s chambers!

No Weapons

No! We don’t need carnal/physical weapons of war (see 2 Corinthians 10:3-6). We have spiritual weapons. We have angels. We have the Holy Spirit anointing. Grant it, it looks like what is in the making (USA) is gonna turn unto an armed conflict of sorts. Many patriot Christians are armed to the teeth. The powers- that- be want an armed uprising, a race/sex war… in order to justify the government’s lust for blood! I truly believe this.

In Memory Of!

There is a Prophetic Word (given by Deborah Green – 5/12/23) in which the theme is about holidays, commemorating them. Having Memorial Day coming up, the Spirit was saying such days are worthless as time passes because there is no righteousness left in remembrance. Xmas and Thanksgiving have very little left in them.

My point in mentioning Memorial Day, is that day honors those who’ve died in wars. For what? To keep America a free; democratic nation that hardly honors or supports those who have given their lives for the “cause.” So America can continue on in its defilement and degradation, perversions, its blatantly sinful lifestyle?

We say a few good words over the graves of the fallen and then go on in our determined SINFULNESS.

So, if and when those who claim to stand/fight for “God and Country” engage the enemy, e.g., Cultural Marxism, will they truly honor God or “self?”

The country I grew up in is GONE FOREVER. I once wore the US. Army Uniform. NOW I wear His BDU (Battle Dress Uniform Found in Ephesians Chapter 6).

Let me end this article with one of the last paragraphs in this Words of the Spirit:

“In Memory of the days when the righteous out numbered the sinful, so do those who are reaming righteous CRY OUT (in BOLDNESS) to Me to bring forth the increase of the ‘Revolution to Return to Righteousness.’ This is because quite obviously for too many are already dying from the RAVAGES of SINS and the infections are spreading. How long can this go on and I the Living God do not take action? Be aware that when I have had enough, I am quite capable of bringing forth total and complete DESTRUCTION…” Amen!
